Cain walked into the school and headed directly towards the headmasters office, he knocked on the door and slowly entered.
"Cain, you…"
The headmaster was shocked, normally a stronger person could estimate a weaker person's strength by looking at the way their muscles moved, but right now, the headmaster had no idea how strong Cain was, meaning Cain had already surpassed him, a tier 9 Genetic Warrior.
"Looks like you've actually accomplished what I've sent you out to do. To be honest Cain, I wasn't expecting you to actually be able to do this task. However I'm glad you've subverted my belief. I'll inform the Divine Perception Sect of my decision, in the meantime, I'd like you to do me a favor. You may have heard the year 2 combat exam is about to begin and I know like you to represent us, despite your strength you are still technically a year 2 student."
"Of course headmaster, it's the least I can do after all the help you've given me"
"Good, prepare yourself, this is a 5v5 type event and its nearly our team's turn. We need to get to the venue fast"
Cain was shocked by the sudden revelation, he thought he still had time but it seemed the event was already underway. Cain wasted no time and got to the arena as quickly as he could, it was the same arena that held the NSCE. With his current speed it wasn't a problem arriving there in a few seconds. Cain entered the spectator spot and saw Remy standing there with George, Lillith, William, Graxi, and Theo.
"Cain, what are you doing here"
"Naturally I'm here to partake in the event"
"Well we've already got our team set up and have practiced for a long time, I'm afraid you joining will ruin all our training"
"Teacher Remy, if you trust me, then put me on"
Remy thought about it. Cain wasn't the arrogant type who believed he was stronger than he was, and he had never let down the school in the past, Remy's gut also told him that Cain would perform well, and he had learned to trust his instincts since a long time ago.
"Alright, you're in. Theo, swap out"
"Yes ….. Sir"
Theo didn't seem bothered at all, and instantly whipped out a book before he started studying. George wasted no further time before giving Cain a massive bear hug, Cain had to push him away before the big freak crushed him.
"Hmph, Cain will just end up ruining our teamwork. I vote we take back Theo"
"No one will think you can't speak if you don't talk Graxi Nasty. Cain is our strongest student, and I'm sure he grew a lot this year so I disagree with your choice"
Lilith and Graxi instantly got into a heated argument, and Cain suddenly realized how blissful it was to live on his own.
"Accelerated Institution VS Myriad Beast Form College"
They soon heard the announcement and walked down onto the stage. Cain had already swapped into the schools combat uniform looking like part of the team. The arena was massive giving plenty of room for the Myriad Beast Form students to transform.
"Cain, you're actually back at the last moment. I thought you were afraid of losing to me"
"Hotch, I've already defeated you twice in the past. I'm afraid of a lot of things but a loser isn't one of them"
"Hmph, I've improved a lot this year. I just hope you can keep up with me"
Hotch and his team instantly transformed into different beasts. One became a bloodthirsty lion, another a massive ape, one was a crane with broad wings and the last one was a gargantuan python. Cain suddenly felt like he walked into a zoo, except the creatures here were about 5x as big as their regular counterparts. Cain's team was instantly suppressed by the other teams overwhelming momentum. Cain and Hotch hadn't even started their attacking, as if waiting for their teams to finish first before they started.
Seeing how this was going, Cain knew his team was going to lose within a few minutes. He shook his head and decided not to play around anymore. Cain instantly flashed before reappearing in the same spot right after. The beasts that were attacking with all their vigor suddenly stopped as they felt a cool sensation around their necks.
They noticed a bloody wound running from one end of their neck to the other, fortunately it was only skin deep or else they would have been dead long ago. Hotch naturally wasn't an exception. The crowd went silent for a second, most people didn't see anything and even the professionals only saw Cain turn blurry for a moment. The silence didn't last long as the crowd went into a wild frenzy of cheers soon after.
