First time on the surface

In a very desolate area, far away from any civilisation, there stood a corrupted area full of purple and black plants, decaying animals roaming around as sentries, a city with black-ish gray bricks manned by undead with varying levels of decomposition, all in armor and with diligency, if you don't count the guy sprawled by storage area smoking some.

In the middle of this centered city, stood a castle/necropolis. It's solem and imposing aura was completely ignored by the team composed of a demon with rippling muscles, a vampire and Aki.

"And you are sure there is no crusade of fanatic humans trying to rip this place to pieces yet?" Asked the dungeon boy to the floating Lich in front of him, who simply laughed a gultural and creepy laugh.

"I'm sure! The last corpse we had to acquire before you got here was the one my little Sally will be ussing for her adulthood party later this year. Truly, i don't think the humans are ready to attack such out of the way place. I could be wrong, sure, but our defenses are good enough at the moment to keep them away for enough time to evacuate the citizens to your dungeon and swear eternal servitude or whatever." Said the floating squeleton with his grandfatherly voice while patting the head of a small squeleton wearing a frily blue dress.

"Hell if i'd accept that kind of slavery. You guys would be citizens like anyone else and you can work on my court to buy that state you were droling over. Just deal with the 200 years before retirement and you will be an old man surrounded by incense and beauties for however long you want. I would sugest getting a loan from my bank, but we both know that'd just be more money for little Sally to hide away. By the way, the possition for head librarian will always be there for you, so don't forget to treat yourself every now and then when your old man is getting into your marrow." Aki became really attached to the quiet and attentive girl and her lackadasical father. Worse yet, they were actually very competent and didn't have any problem making an aliance with the drown empire through Aki, who offered them a safe place and good lifestiles.

Away from the city and it's innabitants though.

"What the fuck was that?! I've never seen any aliance making without even one cassuality! This is ridiculous!" Complained the blue two meters and a half tall demon in his gutural voice.

"Ironically enough i agree. I couldn't even feel you hipnotise or charm any of them either. How did we complete this mission so easily? This place is already very close to what the undead comunity could consider a paradise, what kind of place did you even show them?" Asked the vampire in complete confusion. He was supposed to be the diplomat and his partner the muscles/intimidation factor, but Aki was simply put in together with them in the last minute. When reaching the exit point he practically took command of the operation and found two illegal human operations that imediatly pointed them in the way of the undead city they were looking for. The normal entrance asside, he joked around, played with some chess and teleported away with their leader before coming back twenty minutes later with a crying lich swearing to wathever they said.

Fun fact, skeletal undead can actually cry, but only in moments of extreme emotion, and they cry their bone marrow, which yes, isn't very healthy.

"Don't be like that, we can go to a human city have some fun now that we finished the mission so much faster them expected, so who cares what i showed him?" Nonchalantly said Aki, which made the vampire frown, but before he could say anything his partner interupted him.

"No no, she has a point." He said with a hand in the vampire's shoulder. "But can i rape someone?" He asked with the most serious face.

"Yeah, sure, i will get you a noblewoman and read you her titles and crimes, so you can just use the chance and rape the anus in her heart as well." Aki said with the same nonchalancy while taking out a map.

He didn't put much faith in his words, demons rarely think more than they need to, but the fiend aparently had reached a moment of enlightenment. "That would be like raping two anuses with one dick..." He muttered while scratching his chin.

*****

"How are you doing this?" Asked the vampire in a much more serious tone than before.

"I mean, the second woman I appraised had more than a hundred instances of petty crime and dozens of heinous ones, so it wasn't..." Aki tried to explain while gesticulating with a tankard of mead he took out of nowhere, but he was interupted again. He was using brown hair right now so as to not get too much attention.

"Not that! How are you manipulating everyone so easily?" Asked the pale redhead with some anger in his tone. A migraine was starting to setle in.

"Hell if i'm telling you. Get me your blood core and maybe i will think about it. Now, on a more important matter, there's a cute blondie at the bar. Don't look yet. She's level forty and has been on the road alone for a couple of months now. What you say, does she look like you recently deseased wife? How's her smell?"

"Delicious... Wait, i've never been married."

"And no one here could prove so. Just look at her for a moment, frown a little and gobble that piss ale down in one go, i will do the rest and you ask for another round for two." The vampire did so. "Gerald, i'm telling you, Barbara's gone, it's me and you now, we can't just stay roaming around forever. When's it been the last time you didn't spend our silver in cheap ale and gambling? I haven't been able to touch a woman in months!" Aki said with lots of gesticulations, a change of tone and some more octaves in his voice. "Where are you... oh, that's... you know what? I will go try to see if a friend of mine is in town and come back in an hour at max. I need to cool down." As Aki suddenly got up and went to the barman, he paid for the rounds they'd had and sliped the blonde dogkin a small note saying 'You look just like his late fiancee, i'm sorry if my brother bothers you. He is normaly a gentleman.'

And Aki succesfully left the bar.

'Too easy. If i'd ever read playbook when that friend of mine offered to let me borrow it... Well, medieval woman certainly fall for the general schemes much easier than it is supposed to be, but so do the man. Though i actually have a task, so i can't stand around complaining about people's lack of wisdom.' Thought Aki as he deactivated the hunger and lust pheromone/brain command he had been emiting on a low level.

It took a whole three hours, but Aki finally found the perfect candidate for his plan. It was a rough and bald man with absolutely no self respect and in depression because of his debts, perfect for being Aki's test against the adventurers' guild, so he didn't take much time to hijack the man's mind, check for any marked apointments, and then quickly walk him into the building for registration.

While some locals looked at him funy, this thug was someone who fit the bill for a man who would not have much expected out of him if he became an adventure but would still try the extra work for the coin he needs. Not very upstending, so no one would question him for trying 'the easy way' to get coin, and not so dirtied that the guild would not register him.

He was so dumb that he truthfully did not know anything about the guild's rules and regulations before the receptionist told them to him. Luckily they were just common sense and any real rules would only appear after you became powerful and influential.

Starting at F-rank because he was an adult and actually already had a class, the thug was scanned for his mana signature and registered with a small fee being paid for someone else to deal with the paperwork.

Aki sent his new trall to get a request for herb picking and easy hunting, which had little drawings that helped diferentiate each, and had him come back to the random alleway he found himself in. Just looking at the guild card he could see that trying to tamper with it straight away would be pure stupidity. Whoever designed this version of the thing had some paranoia issues, but Aki could pass through those securities with time. After all, he could say for certain that he understood the person's thoughts with certainty, or it wouldn't be so deadly to use the things he makes without being it's owner.

First, he began to produce a transmitor for the guild card's signal. It would send back whatever feedback Aki wanted with minuscule handshake diference. Obviously Aki imagined that such 'lousy' diference of 0.1 seconds would be noticed sooner or later, so he instead started to 'sincronize' the transmiter further.

Timing was the key really. It wasn't that hard to block the signal from the card, but slowing the shutting off system message needed him to void an area of ambient mana or the card would simply charge itself without an user, but doing so the moment after it had just sent a pulse, made it so that it was delayed enough for Aki to easily intercept the signal and prepare the right coding on the transmisor, which had been put to replicate the card's functions nigh perfectly at this point.

Translating, it's not impossible to hack into the adventurer's guild, but it sure is a major pain in the ass that would need several specialized people with lots of magic knowledge doing a ritual to open the thing.

And that is the standard access card that can be mass produced, even Aki would be unable to open the card of a B-rank or above. For now.

But anyways:

"So these are really just a relay and code bearing device for something much bigger... Good thing I was paranoid and didn't try to register myself, they'd start spying on me even before I got a better card." Muttered Aki while playing a bit with the pieces of the card.

His trall had already been teleported to somewhere close to his appointment with the local gang, hiding his much more intrusive piece of magic.

"Now I just need to wait. Basic coding lessons really weren't that useless. Wonder how fast I could program something now, maybe I wouldn't have given up on it after only a week if I wasn't so slow." Muttered Aki as he put the evidence of his crime in a dimensional ring, for safety, remembered his family yet again and walked to the main market while avoiding any thugs in the alleys.

He'd give it back later.

Faust was in a hurry and didn't really pay attention to where he was going, but he knew the city too well to get lost, so he got to the debriefing ten minutes earlier than needed.

Normally he would feel more secure when entering their territory, but now he just felt lonely. It had been years since he'd, allow himself to feel such.

In this middle of nowhere town, he was actually considered good muscle at level 27, he had many a privilege, but he could not help but to feel like it wasn't what he wanted for the rest of his very endangered life.

"Faust! My old friend, I see you have decided to grace us with your presence. You coming back to work?" Asked a tall and thin man with oily brown hair.

"Yeah, been a bit short on money." He said with a fake smile. 'Why did I ever consider this weasel a friend again?' He asked himself. Tim was only ever happy when he profited. Recently he learned that part of his cut was being robbed. Apparently it wasn't so good for a thug to ask some questions or talk too much. He was just the guy who grunted and looked intimidating, but only as long as he was only that.

'What do I want? Even if I'm somewhat in debt, this job will have me cleared off and I can go back to just enjoying myself. I'm nothing more than a thug anyway, even if I try to get some pocket change as an adventurer, I will never be more.' Faust closed his fist and stopped pondering, focusing on the description of their next job. Apparently he was to hold off this retired guy who was in his twenties while the other boys dealt with his newly opened shop.

He'd done it before once and the other guy was higher level too, so he wasn't that worried about holding this old man.

*****

"Gah!" *crash* As the guy who was by his side spat blood and got stuck in the wall, Faust wanted really bad to kick himself in the head for getting himself into this.

There was only one thing to do here. As he roared and threw himself into the old monk's side, he was imediatly sent flying with a hit in the stomach as well. Though he landed in some crates in an alley, which really helped his escape plan. The alley, not the crates. Faust got up after a bit. He could see the other boys being destroyed.

Limping away while holding his side, he wondered who was the idiot who thought they could that guy on. He would not be surprised if someone told him the monk was level 50!

'Fuck this shit, I'm going to the temple and then I'm doing adventurer work till my debt is clean. With things going this far south I should somehow be able to get more time to pay, but after that I'm out! I'd much rather believe beasts and monsters than these idiots again.'

When hearing so, Aki grinned with mischief and slowly stopped buffing the old man protecting the shop so he'd at least get hurt and make the situation more believable.

'And so begins a legend. One I'ma gonna write.'
