"Wakey wakey" Steven grinned as he pecked me on the cheeks."You look sleepy". 

"Ugh! I can't see clearly!". I mumbled half awake. 

"That's because you are being bombarded with sun rays". He laughed as he pulled me unto him. "Now get up, before I eat you". He squeals.

"I dare you". I grinned as I peeped through my eyelids. 

"Mais oui". Came his response and I jerked slowly as a response from his teasing hands. 

"Haha... This feels good!" I laughed before running from him. 

Ain't Your Regular Girlfriend

I walked slowly back to school, with my eyes focusly fixed on my phone. The M'don café is only a stone throw from the school. 


"Hey!". Someone yells and pushes me to himself. 


"What the hell was that". I gasp as the flower vessel that was supposed to land on my head falls on the ground and shattered to pieces. 


"Who was that". The guys said and pointed up at "Jezz is that Tacha? No, that isn't her. Why on earth would she want to hurt me." I say in my mind and see Tacha jump from the small roof to a pathway with a "keep off" sign.


"Hey!, you are gonna get yourself killed!". The guy yelled but it was too late to relate what he was saying as I was already running after Tacha unaware of where I was going. 


Why would Tacha do that? Why would she wanna kill me? Were the words that keep repeating in my head. 


"Stay back". Tacha says. "what the hell. I gasped at the sight of the big rock tacha was threatening to jump from. "Or I jump". 


I've never been here before."What is this place? I ask myself. "It's Okay Tacha, I'm not mad at you". I say biting down the anger of almost getting killed but I know this girl... She ain't capable of this not when... Wait a sec is someone threatening her?. "Just come down from there and we will talk... Like friends".


"Yeah, with me..." Shut the fuck up!". She yells, cutting me off." Move an inch and I swear I'm gonna jump ". 


"Please, don't do it, we will seek this out together...let go of me! I yell and struggle at a hand around my neck. 


I hold the hand around my neck trying to free myself from its grip. I heard Tacha whimper as I continued to struggle with the hand around my neck. "I'm sorry Lara". Tacha says and climbs down ". 


Tacha hits the person that was holding me with a stick from behind, He grunts and pushes her. I took the opportunity and hit the person on his stomach with my elbow. 


He falls back. He rushed back to me and hit me but I dodge the blow before it could land on my face. "Who sent you?." I ask and watch as he brings out something from his pocket. "A knife". I gasp and move back and he walks forward to me. 


"You are digging too much but it's best I end you this way!". He yelled and raised his knife walking faster to me. 


Suddenly someone hits him from behind making the knife fall. The guy that saved me from being hit by the vessel. 


The man on the ground stands, he runs inside the bush immediately he gets on his feet." You okay?". The guy asks and pulls me up". 


"Yeah... I am, thanks for saving me again ". I say and form a smile. 


"No pro... Sorry for not coming on time". He smiles and extends his hand to me. "Micheal but you can call me Mike". 


"Lara... Plain Lara". I say and pick my backpack from the ground. "Fuck! Tacha". We walk to where Tacha lay with her eyes closed. "Is she alright?".


"Yeah, she is unconscious". He said and carried Tacha on his shoulders. 


"Don't take me to the hospital, please". Tacha mumbled.
