[19] COLORED WATER

"Lara everything alright? ". Clara asks and leans against the kitchen door.

"Ffine!". I snap.

"Okay". Clara says softly and walks closer to me. "You know I love you".

"Puff!. How is Tacha doing". I ask changing the weird love question.

"She's sleeping, probably tired. ".

"Look Clara do you have any past history with her?". I ask as I am totally pissed at everything happening, especially her attitude towards the girl that almost killed her best friend. Fuck! Best friend? Screw best friends, there is no such thing as that!

"She was my friend before she... Stopped being my friend". Clara sighs and I bet she is biting down tears that were already showing in her voice.

God! Why is Clara so sensitive, little things can make her cry and it's fucking annoying cos I don't like tears or seeing them. I can't remember the Last time I cried or felt pain until yesterday.

"Why did she stop being your friend?". I managed to ask her and swallowed the lump in my throat.

"I don't know... She just cut everyone off and has not been coming to school lately."

"So you don't know why she cut you off from her life?". I'm trying to figure out what would be the reason for Tacha's attitude. God! I think that girl is a moron... But let's just leave that question for Tacha to answer when she gets well enough to talk.

"I don't know". Clara says and touches the bruises on my wrist. "I'm sorry, you got hurt. I shouldn't have left you all alone in the café".

"Hey! If you were there it would have been another bad-bad story". I tease her and wrap my hand around her. " Has Tacha's home picked up yet?. I ask and she shakes her head." Maybe she's used to sleeping out, that's why they didn't bother about her not coming home last night.

"Or maybe that's not the real story there...what's this". Clara asks, shaking the glass.

"Tea".

"Jeez, this tea? Haha, this is colored water!".
