[39] THE FIGHT

Clara trembled as I wrapped my hand around her and pulled her to me, comforting her as she so damn needed to be comforted until our little moment was distracted by Betty and Christy as they walked over pushing their books onto Clara's laps and she jumped picking up the fallen books.

"Assholes!" I yelled as I collected the books from Clara and threw it at them, hitting them at the back of their head. they stopped walking back angrily.

Betty kept her hand on her tiny waist and Christy walked around me huffing.

"Bitch!". Betty yelled and grabbed my hair, I pulled out of the grip and grabbed hers, all thanks to Magritte for styling my hair in braids last night.

Students who were around ran over to us as I continued to drag her, she screamed raising her hands in the air. Seeking help from above. Christy intervened, dragging her out of my grip.

I am not a troublemaker nor a fighter but when you find my trouble I will sell you my market at a very bad price.

Betty, who was still struggling while I still didn't want to let go of her, as what they were doing to Clara and other students heavied my chest. "You don't get to toy with anyone around me and go free". I say Clara came in between us as Christy raised her hand to hit me but the blow landed on Clara's face and she fell.

"Roofies would have finished you if not for that lover of yours!". Betty yelled straightening her hair. I'm taken aback by her word but shook it off as whatever she says was obviously a lie.

"Grace, I'm giving you this grace because of Mrs. Stewart ". Christy spat in a raspy voice. and I helped Clara back on her feet.

"You're just a Crybaby" I fired and walked Clara out of there.

"No one should speak of this or else!". I heard Christy threaten the students as they all ran back to the school exiting the area. Then the school bell rings.
