Shadow and Thunder

Artemis was trying to protect Arthur standing between the Endbringers and him when the leader of the Endbringers suddenly stands on his back hoofs showing his aggressiveness when Shura appears and puts him down.

"Goliath it has been long," says Shura as he appears instilling fear into the herd of horses.

Goliath begins to wheeze angrily showing his displeasure of Shura appearing when Shura says, "You can't have him. I invested too much in that boy to lose him to you."

Goliath stomps his hoof against the ground angrily when Shura suddenly brings a black sword out making the horse nervous while Shura says, "You should apologize before I put you out, dumb horse."

Goliath was showing some remorse as he apologized to Arthur and Artemis when Shura petted him and says, "Well now you need to recompensate Arthur for the mental trauma that he suffered because of you."

Goliath stared at Shura seriously and Shura did the same back as they had a little mental fight when Goliath retreats and walked towards one of the horses he leads and pushes one forward.

"It seems that Goliath wants to give you this horse as a recompensation for scaring you," says Shura as he looked at the horse and sees that it was quite young not being fully grown.

The Endbringer normally is bigger than a Shire. This Endbringer was as big as a Shire making Shura realize that it was one of the youngest members of Goliath's herd.

The horse seemed confused by what Goliath did and was nervous as Shura puts his sword away. Then he turns to Arthur and says, "Well this is your horse from today on. It will need some of your blood and a name."

The horse wanted to fight against what Shura said when Shura puts his hand on the horse making it realize that it couldn't escape from this situation while reigns and a saddle appeared on the horse.

"That will be my horse?" asks Arthur as Shura nods taking a knife out and pinching Arthur's finger before dropping the blood on the forehead of the horse imprinting the horse on Arthur.

"Now it's yours. Only the name is left," says Shura as Arthur was thinking when he opened his eyes.

"Thunder," says Arthur as Shura smiles at him.

"A strong name. I hope he will be worthy of his name," says Shura as he looked then at Artemis and says, "You will have to train him in riding as well it seems."

"I will do what I can," says Artemis as Shura then turns to Goliath.

"If something happens to them while on territory I will have your skin in my office," says Shura warning Goliath about what his future would be if something happened to Artemis and Arthur before vanishing in front of their eyes.

Goliath then left leaving Thunder behind. Thunder wasn't happy about it and he was showing it as he didn't let either Arthur nor Artemis on his back and when they manage it he would throw them down.

"Well it seems you will be taming Thunder for the next year," says Artemis as she looked at the stubborn horse.

"You can't help me?" asks Arthur as Artemis shakes her head.

"I can't," says Artemis as she sat down on a rock to rest while saying, "If I were to help you the horse wouldn't respect you but me and once we part it would become wild again. This will disrupt the training program I had in mind but it can't be helped."

"And how do I tame it?" asks Arthur as Artemis pointed at Thunder.

"Riding it without it throwing you off. That would be the fastest way to show him that you are stronger than him," says Artemis as Arthur was holding his head.

He began the taming process as he was thrown all over the place by Thunder who was as stubborn as his new master that climbed up on him every time that he was thrown off.

This went on for almost two months when Arthur was finally sitting on Thunder's back without being thrown off since Thunder didn't give up but just accepted that sooner or later he would leave the jungle.

And once he left, he would need Arthur on the other side since he knows the stories of the other side from Goliath who told the horses in the herd about how cruel the world is outside the jungle.

"It seems he gave up," says Arthur as Thunder's ears went back signalizing that he was angry and will throw him off when Arthur says, "I was joking."

This makes the ears go back into a more relaxed position when Artemis says, "Then it's time for you to learn how to ride him."

This took almost nothing as Thunder allowed Arthur to lead for now making it easy for him to learn. After that Artemis could finally concentrate on teaching Arthur again how to survive in the wild.

This all went smoothly until a door appeared finalizing their stay in Wildlife Paradise as Thunder was bigger than a year before making him taller than a Shire making it obvious that he reached his limit in growing.

They passed it and they arrived at the training ground in which Arthur trained all those years with Shura awaiting them.

"It seems your time is up Artemis. Now he will train two more years to find his own style before his adventure begins," says Shura as Artemis nods and puts her hand on Arthur's shoulder.

"I hope you survive Mortal. I gift you the ability to tame wild animals easier. It doesn't work on beasts like the Endbringer but it should work on all the animals living in the mortal realm," says Artemis as energy begins to enter Arthur's body surrounding him in light.

Arthur stopped to radiate and Artemis lifts her hand. Shura smiled and claps his hand together as a staff appeared in his hand.

It was completely black with Golden Dragons engraved into it that went all over the staff making it obvious that it was made for Arthur as Shura says, "The Monkey asked me to create a staff for you so you could use everything he taught you."

Shura then throws it at Arthur and says, "There is a place where you can engrave your symbol so you can summon it wherever you are."

Arthur looked around the shaft finding the spot Shura meant when Shura continues, "That isn't all."

Arthur looked at Shura who suddenly snapped making Artemis leave the Warriors Realm when he continues, "Since you completed your training I made some weapons for you."

Then all weapons that Arthur trained with before appeared in front of him as well as some weapons he never saw before and Shura then brings out a ring made out black metal and all weapons disappeared into it.

"Here you go. It should help you keep them near you and if your weapon is too far away then use the recall ability that Hermes gave you," says Shura as he walked to the middle of the training ground and continues, "All weapons are available here except for the Hammer and the Sword that aren't made of the same material of your armor."

"Also, once you leave you will be able to use them all except for the Sword and the Hammer. You will be able to use them when the time is right," says Shura with a smile as he looked at Arthur and says, "Also you should meet someone."

Arthur was now puzzled who he should meet when suddenly a Black Eagle came shooting down from the sky. The eagle landed on Arthur's shoulder making him feel pain since he didn't have his armor on and the talons pierced his shoulder.

"Shadow?" asks Arthur as the Black Eagle rubbed his head against his master showing that it was happy to be remembered by him. Arthur petted his head making Shadow even happier.

Thunder, on the other hand, became quite jealous of Shadow because Arthur never petted him inside the jungle. Making Thunder try to bite Shadow who just flew into the sky making Thunder bite into Arthur's shoulder.

Arthur now was holding his shoulder from the pain he was feeling that was inflicted by both his pets when Shura begins to laugh as he says, "It seems someone became jealous."

"Jealous. Thunder? Who are you trying to kid with that? That horse always tried to bite my hand off before I could pet him every time I tried," says Arthur as Shura put his hand on Arthur's injured shoulder and heals it.

Hearing that made Thunder realize that Arthur was trying to pet him in the past as he tried to hide behind a wall that was too small for him since even a midget couldn't hide behind that.

"Were you really jealous of Shadow?" asks Arthur as he looked at his horse that was trying to hide when it looked away.

"You aren't honest there, little horse. I know that expression from Goliath," says Shura as Thunder wanted to run away.

"Come here right now," says Arthur as Thunder was not moving at all when Arthur sighs and needed to walk towards Thunder.

He petted the horse for the first time and the horse liked it making it happy when Shadow landed on Thunder's head.

Thunder was about to shake Shadow off when Arthur says, "You two will need to learn how to live together since you are partners understood."

Thunder then stopped the motion and was a bit angry that Shadow was on his head when Shadow began to spread its wings showing some fondness for Thunder when Arthur looked confused when Shura sees that look and laughs.

"Shadow is a female. You couldn't know that since you get her as an egg. But you won't be able to change her name because of the imprinting," says Shura as Arthur was now understanding why Shadow wasn't fighting with Thunder since two males wouldn't get this well of after one tried to bite him in half.

"Now then back to training. In two years you will be leaving the Warriors Realm and enter the Mortal World again," says Shura as he leaves the three alone.
