It took Yun four more days to completely heal Huang Xu. He was completely healed but he was still weak and needed to regain his strength.
"Now you should regain your strength it will take a week to a month until you can walk normally since your muscles have lost much of their mass and need training so you can stand straight," says Yun as he finished examining Huang Xu completely making sure he didn't overlook something.
"My Lord," says Huang Zhong entering the room.
"What happened?" asks Yun as he could see that Huang Zhong is nervous about something.
"It seems some troublemakers entered Xiangyang today," says Huang Zhong as he was worried since they are quite troublesome.
"Are they strong?" asks Yun since that was what he was interested in.
"It depends on who you meet from those rogues. If you ask me they should all be sentenced to death for all the trouble they committed," says Huang Zhong as they made his life a nightmare since he joined Liu Biao.
"Why hasn't Liu Biao dealt with them if they are such a pest?" asks Yun curious about why Liu Biao would allow them to roam free around his territory.
"It's because they don't rob people in the city. They wait until they are outside. Liu Biao is only in charge of Xiangyang, not the whole province. But all the people robbed by them return to Xiangyang to complain about it and I had to sit there and write reports about everything that happened," says Huang Zhong furious but at the same time relieved that he didn't have to go through this crap again.
"You said it depends on who I meet, right?" asks Yun as Huang Zhong nods.
"Maybe they heard from the recruitment and came to Xiangyang for that," says Yun thinking about it since turning into a soldier could get you more benefits than being a robber that could get killed any moment.
"I would rather bet they are looking for a target to rob from and we are the ones with the biggest one on our back," says Huang Zhong making Yun smile.
"If it comes to that we will deal with them. But for now, you should enjoy your time with Xu. I will join the Madam. She must be waiting for me at the table," says Yun as Huang Zhong kneels to show his gratitude for healing Huang Xu completely.
Yun left the room to join Diao Chan who was eating with Ren and Dian Wei at the moment while the kittens were drinking some milk that Dian Wei bought in the market.
"How is he doing?" asks Diao Chan as Yun would join them after treating Huang Xu.
"He is weak but his sickness is gone. From a week to a month he should be able to walk normally again as his muscles need to develop again from laying down such a long time," says Yun as he sat down beside Diao Chan and a servant walked towards them.
Yun ordered some vegetable dumplings for breakfast as the carpenter comes into the inn carrying the wooden cage that Yun wanted him to build.
"I am done with the work," says the carpenter as Yun took the cage and saw that it had enough space for the kittens in it since they were growing large from day to day thanks to Diao Chan taking care of them.
"You have done a good work. Here some extra coins," says Yun giving it to the carpenter who nods thankfully before leaving when Yun's dumplings arrived.
"I haven't seen Shadow in a while, is she alright?" asks Diao Chan worried as Yun nods.
"She is looking out for trouble," says Yun as he knows Shadow the best out of his two partners.
She is always protective of Yun even if she is smaller than Thunder she is the boss of him and that makes Thunder quite furious at times.
"Who is Shadow?" asks Ren as she and the father-son duo haven't met her yet.
"Shadow is Yun's Eagle. You will meet her soon," says Diao Chan as she steals a dumpling from Yun's plate.
They were talking until they hear bells ringing from outside when a group of people entered the inn. The group looked at them and three out of them were straight confused because of the way the group was dressed.
They were dressed flamboyantly with bells hanging around their belts that sounded with every step they took. Their shoes were covered in silk to not dirty them it seems when Yun remembered something and placed his hand against his forehead because he feeling embarrassed from seeing them like that.
'I should have known that I would meet him sooner or later around here but not that he would appear straight in front of me right now,' thinks Yun as he looked at the young man leading the group.
He is as tall as Huang Zhong maybe a bit smaller with a well-trained body, short black hair, and light brown eyes. He had a tan from standing in the sun for a long time. Yun knew very well who was sitting just some tables away from him.
It was Gan Ning, a Naval Commander that was famous for his piracy before becoming a commander under Liu Biao before he joined Sun Quan where he was appreciated and he became a power equal to Guan Yu and Zhang Liao.
'The question is do I recruit him now that he is in front of me. I don't have a naval force nor base but he could be a commander of the Infantry Division that Huang Zhong will be leading until I can create a Naval Division,' thinks Yun as he finished his plate.
"Let me speak to those people," says Yun as he wanted to stand up when Ren stops him.
"Don't, they are robbers even if they picture themselves as heroes," says Ren warning Yun which makes Dian Wei laugh as he stands up from his seat.
"I was a sword-to-hire before I was recruited by Yun. Maybe he wants to do the same with them," says Dian Wei as this was something Ren didn't know.
Yun went towards the group with Dian Wei when Yun looks straight at Gan Ning and asks, "I heard you are bandits that rob from people, is that true?"
"It depends if they annoy us, or not," says Gan Ning thinking that Yun and Dian Wei wanted to impress the women sitting with them at the table.
"How about you find some honorable work that won't bring shame to your family," says Yun knowing that this would rally up the group.
They wanted to stand up when they felt the hands of the two on their neck preventing them from standing up.
"How about this, a little duel between your leader and me? If you lose, you will join me. And if I lose I will give you all my coins," says Yun as he took out a big pouch he was carrying around his belt and placed it on the table.
Gan Ning picked it up and looked into it before thinking he would make easy money as it was Dian Wei who was holding him down.
"You have your duel," says Gan Ning overconfident as Yun thought his young age was speaking out of him.
"If you dare go back on your word there won't be a place you will be able to hide," says Yun warning him as he would find them and drag them back with all of his men.
"I never go back on my word," says Gan Ning as Dian Wei smiled knowing that Yun would easily win against even all four.
"Good then, let us go outside," says Yun as he let go of the two men he was holding with Dian Wei following his actions before Yun walks towards the exit.
Gan Ning followed Yun with his men while Dian Wei was behind them so they wouldn't get some bad ideas.
Once outside Yun stretched for a bit while saying, "So what is your name. If you are going to become my subordinate I need to know how to call you."
"Gan Ning," says Gan Ning as he stood a few steps away from Yun when he asks, "And you are?"
"General Zhao Yun, but you can call me Zhao Yun since I am not your General for now," says Yun as he turned to Gan Ning who was pale.
He heard of Yun and his exploits since he traveled around with his band of brothers while robbing those that antagonists them. They mostly talked about the man that killed the Leader of the Rebellion and finished the whole Rebellion in the North and the Middle Plains.
What Gan Ning didn't know was that most of the tales were exaggerations about what happened. Yun didn't win the battles fighting alone but by relying on his allies to be in place at the right moment at the right time.
"Now, let us fight. I still have things to do and entertaining you isn't one of them," says Yun as he goes into position to fight.
"You have three seconds to prepare," says Yun as he follows up with, "One!"
"Wait! Wait! I don't want to fight any longer!" says Gan Ning not wanting to fight a monster.
"Two!" says Yun not wanting to hear Gan Ning pledges of surrender as Gan Ning sees that Yun didn't care and goes into a fighting position when Yun says, "Three!"
Yun rushed directly at Gan Ning who awaited that and throws the first fist which Yun duck under it and passes Gan Ning on his left side while Yun's left arm was around Gan Ning's abdomen.
Yun slides on the ground before standing behind Gan Ning and he interlocks his hands before pulling Gan Ning up and Yun performs a German Suplex and crashes Gan Ning into the ground.
Gan Ning was out cold as Yun let go of him and says, "Damn, I thought he would endure more."
"My Lord, I think even I would be out cold if you used that move on me," says Dian Wei as he was grateful that Yun never used that on him.
"Take him inside and tell the Innkeeper we need another bed in our room," says Yun as Dian Wei nods before picking Gan Ning up and enter the Inn.
Yun turned to the three remaining men and asks, "How did you get to Xiangyang?"
"By boat. We have our own carrier after all," says one of them when Yun nods while thinking.
"Can you sail to Zhending?" asks Yun as they nod.
"Then gather everyone together and sail to Zhending. Once there ask for Tang Shi and tell him that I send you. He will know what to do," says Yun as they nod before they walked away when Yun stopped them again.
"And tell Tang Shi that you already have a captain. That way he will keep you all together and get some normal clothes and remove those bells they will only signalize your position to the enemy," says Yun as he sends them away.
Yun then entered the Inn again while the crowd was surprised that one man resolved their trouble by just crushing the leader of those bandits into the ground.
