The Wedding of Mulan and Sun Quan

Two weeks passed since Yun and his family arrived in Jianye, the city was lively today since it was the day Sun Quan and Zhao Mulan will be married to each other.

Mulan was wearing a red dress which she didn't know that used to be Diao Chan's wedding dress as Madam Su began to paint a red lotus in the middle of her forehead.

When Yun saw his little girl he was standing still in shock because Mulan looked a lot like Diao Chan when they got married as Yun came out of his stupor and walked toward Mulan and Madam Su.

"I thought we lost this dress when we left Zhending," says Yun remembering that Diao Chan wanted to see her daughter use the same dress to get married.

"It was one of the dresses your wife stored away first when we left Zhending," says Madam Su while Zhen Luo was waiting for Yun to let go of Mulan so she could apply a bit of red color on her lips.

"You look a lot like your mother when she was your age in this dress," says Yun trying to compliment Mulan as he let her go so Zhen Luo could give her the last touch.

"Is this really necessary?" asks Mulan seriously before she looked at her own reflection almost not recognizing herself in it.

"The Wedding Day is a woman's most important day. So yes it is necessary to make you as beautiful as possible so you never forget this day," says Zhen Luo sounding more like a mother than a friend as she usually does with Fang and Mulan since they are almost the same age.

Zhen Luo gave Mulan the final touch and Mulan looked like a fully-grown woman instead of the savage she looked like when she arrived at Jianye.

Yun left the room as he stood before the door blocking anyone that wanted to enter the room even his sons and daughter except for Ai who was brought inside by Mi Shi so Zhen Luo could feed the little hungry beast since Zhen Luo didn't want to let one of the other midwives breastfeed her first child.

"Come on we are all curious about what sister looks like," says Rin wanting to see what Mulan looked like without her armor on as usual.

"You will all see her later at the ceremony," says Yun seriously preparing himself as Sun Quan would be coming over to get Mulan who would be sitting in a carriage to travel around the streets before arriving back at the Sun Mansion.

But before he could take Mulan he had to play out a duel in which he earned the right to marry which would be played out by Zheng and Sun Quan as did Yun back then with his father and Wei Yan did with Hua.

The duel was short and nobody was injured as it was intended with Sun Quan's victory before Mulan was allowed out of the Sun Mansion wearing a red veil that hide her beauty from everyone until the ceremony was done.

Everyone was celebrating quite hard since Sun Quan invited most of his Generals while those stationed at the borders stayed back. The carriage soon returned and they were all led into the big courtyard where tables and benches were prepared to host everyone.

Yun sat down at one table with his family while across from them sat down Sun Quan's family which included his younger brothers who weren't there to welcome them when they arrived as well as Da Qiao, Xiao Qiao, and Zhou Yu.

Sun Quan and Mulan were sitting on a stage with the ceremony master while everyone was watching them give the three bows to Heaven, Earth, and their Ancestors before they shared wine with each other which officially made them husband and wife.

This was the moment everyone was waiting for since Mulan hadn't shown her face the whole time when Sun Quan lifted it falling for a moment in a trance when he saw Mulan's face which only indicated a good thing to his Generals.

Mulan touches his hands waking him up from his trance as he processed with kissing her to seal their wedding which meant it was time to celebrate. Yun was drinking with Hua since Zhen Luo and Taiyin needed to breastfeed their children making it difficult for them to drink.

Fang was drinking as well when Zheng tried to get some wine to celebrate as well only to find his father stop him since Zheng was still too young in his eyes. What Yun didn't know was that Madam Su slipped some wine into Zheng's water so he could celebrate as well since in her eyes he was already an adult.

Then it was time for them to receive their gifts from their guests with everyone being quite generous when it was finally the Zhao Family's turn. Everyone was expecting something special since the bride comes from said family and Yun stood before the couple.

"I don't know if you will appreciate my gifts for you two but take in mind that they represent my opinion," says Yun as he snaps with his finger calling for Dian Wei, Zhang He, and their men as they carried Yun's gift for the couple which was a small chest with gold in it and some pelts.

"It seems that the Zhao Clan is quite greedy," says Zhou Yu trying to antagonize Yun and his family.

"Those pelts are worth more than the chest of gold I gifted them since they are from the cats I am keeping at my manor," says Yun hinting from which animal they were taken.

Cheng Pu just remembered about the pets Yun's kept he felt chills pass his spine when he hears Yun say, "Sun Jian was known as the Tiger of Jiangdong and the pelts should honor his memory."

This upset some of the people because they were thinking that Yun was mocking the father of their Lord while Huang Gai, Han Dang, and Cheng Pu knew that Yun wouldn't do that when Yun looks at Rin who nods and left only to return with the last gift from the Zhao Family. They are two white tiger cubs which are descendants of Yun's first tiger, Snowflake.

She presents them to Sun Quan and Mulan when Yun says, "As the pelts represent the past those two tiger cubs should represent the future. I hope that you and my daughter will bring forth a man worthy to carry the title of his grandfather so he would never be forgotten."

This now pleased the people and the trio sighed in relief that Yun saved the situation while Zhou Yu was furious because of Yun's words since he couldn't criticize him now or he would be antagonized for holding a grudge.

Soon the night fell over them and Sun Quan left with Mulan since they needed to perform the deed which would give Yun sooner or later grandchildren. The next day soon came and Zhen Luo was beside Mulan as they talked about her first night with Sun Quan.

Mulan was mostly red but Yun could see that she really loved Sun Quan so he left to catch some air when he sees the two tiger cubs playing around in the courtyard with Rin since she was instructing the servants on how to treat the cubs as the Tiger Queen herself.

They would be leaving soon since Yun couldn't hold the appearance of attacking the South for too long or Cao Cao would suspect something and send him to his death and the next campaign which is to take the north while Yuan Shao's sons are fighting over it.

He sits down as he looks at the cubs when Shadow lands on his shoulder and he says, "He was around the same age and size when we found him."

He was feeling melancholic seeing Snowflake in the cubs and Shadow could feel it as she hugs Yun using her wings to surround Yun's head while rubbing her head against Yun's.

"*sighs* I should have known that sooner or later he would die but still...," says Yun as he felt sad and happy at the same time seeing the cubs.

"I really hope that they will be able to carry the burden of being his sons," says Yun before looking into the sky while saying, "As well as my children will be able to carry the burden of being my children in the future."

Yun then stood up and Shadow stopped blocking Yun's view before they left to meet an old friend. He left the Sun Mansion and walked down the street before arriving at an inn with a red roof.

He enters it and finds a tall man hiding his face with a straw hat while sitting at a table. He approaches said table and sits down before ordering some wine.

"I congratulate you for becoming Sun Quan's father-in-law," says the man as he removes the hat revealing a red face and a long well-kept beard underneath it.

"Thank you, Guan Yu. I hope the women arrived without a scratch," says Yun knowing that Sun Quan wouldn't do anything to the women.

"They did except for Mi Shi. Lady Gan told us that Lady Mi wanted to stay in Xiapi and serve as a midwife for you by taking care of your third son at that moment," says Guan Yu as the wine arrived at their table.

"I always hold my word," says Yun pouring wine into his cup since Guan Yu's cup was full.

"I know and I am thankful for it. I will repay you one day for keeping them safe and sound," says Guan Yu as he lifts his cup toward Yun who mimicked him.

"I hope so," says Yun as they touch each other's cups before drinking the wine.

"So you are abandoning Cao Cao soon?" asks Guan Yu curious as they already drank five bottles of wine.

"Not soon enough. Let me warn you and tell you to flee toward Sun Quan once Liu Biao dies. If you won't do it you will awaken to a bad surprise which could lead to not only your death," says Yun warning Guan Yu who picked up on it.

"I will try to convince my brothers to do so," says Guan Yu with confidence as he knows that Yun wouldn't lie to him.

"Try to make an alliance with Sun Quan to fight back Cao Cao even if I stand on the other side as your enemy," says Yun to Guan Yu who was looking around to make sure nobody heard Yun since his words sounded like treason.

"Don't worry nobody in this inn will ever talk about this conversation," says Yun trying to calm Guan Yu down.

"How can you be so sure?" asks Guan Yu when Yun calls the innkeeper over.

"Your name and rank?" asks Yun in a commanding tone.

"Fa Bing, I am a mere spy under your command, General Zhao," says Fa Bing who is a spy stationed in Jianye by Rong the Head of the External Spy Unit.

"Wait, are you telling m-," says Guan Yu shocked when Yum interrupts him.

"Don't piss your pants. I have spies everywhere even in Xuchang," says Yun to Guan Yu who was surprised at how far Yun's Spy Network is spread.

"Anyway, I will inform you through one of my spies when it is time for you to run," says Yun to Guan Yu just in case he misses the signs or they aren't informed of Liu Biao's death.

"I will appreciate it," says Guan Yu as he was now sober again thanks to Yun revealing how deep his Psy Network went.

He stood up and put his hat on again which covered most of his face and he takes out a little gift while saying, "I hope that you can give this to your daughter from me to congratulate her."

"I will do so," says Yun trusting Guan Yu as he took his gift and put it away before Guan Yu left the inn to return to Xinye County where he and his brothers are refugeeing at the moment while Yun returned to the Sun Mansion to give Mulan the gift he received from Guan Yu for her.
