2 days later

"I heard we have newbies."

"Sino daw? Transferees from where?"

"No idea. I bet they're not that special."

"We wouldn't know until later."

The professor went inside and two girls stayed outside the door as they waited for the professor's instructions.

"Okay, class! You have new classmates starting today and please help them out with anything they need. They're both from abroad so help them adjust, mkay?"

The class responded 'okay' in unison and the professor gestured her hands for them to come in.

When the two transferees came into sight, gasps filled the room and chatterings got louder and louder.

It's impossible not to make a noise when what's infront of them are two drop dead gorgeous women.

"Go ahead and introduce yourselves."

Azranna went first and smilingly introduced herself.

"Hi everyone! My name is Azranna Liege but you can call me Azzy. Nice to meet you! I just came back from London and it's a pleasure to study with you guys "

The men's reaction were like they were being hypnotized. Mouths open, eyes looked like they were daydreaming and sighs of admiration as Azranna introduced herself.

"My name is Lexine Viecueva. Also from London."

Compared to Azranna, now the girls were awestruck as they looked at Lexine. She was only wearing a knitted teal green turtle neck sweater and a pair of black denim and her hair wasn't styled or anything but she looked like a million dollar deal.

'Her eyes are so beautiful.'

That charm and aura turned all the girls in the room a few shades whiter.

"Where did you study before IAI and what did you guys major in?"

One of the girls asked. She sounded impatient and rolled her eyes as if thinking that these newbies' backgrounds were ridiculous.

Azranna answered smilingly.

"University of Fine Arts London."

The whole room fell silent, especially the girls who were thinking that the two transferees infront of them were just beauty and had empty brains.

'I wanted to study there but I got rejected because my GPA did not meet their standards'

'You need to be an A-lister for you to get admitted there!'

'Why would they transfer here?"

'Baka na kick out?'

Girls were talking at the back and exchanging opinions about the girls and didn't notice that the professor already urged the two new students to find their seats.

They only felt a cold breeze slide past them and the chattering immediately stopped.

As if the room got colder and all of them looked to the direction where that ominous feeling was coming from but no one was looking at them.

'Strange'

"Listen up! This week's project is Flesh Tones in Acrylic and no groupings this time. I'm one hundred percent sure you'll max out all your learnings and apply it to your painting."

Azranna looked at Lexine. "It's been quite awhile since you last painted. God's hand still works?"

Lexine just gave off a shrug and placed her hands on top of her desk and buried her face.

'She's treating this place like our Uni in London where all the professors favor her so much they would encourage her to sleep in class if she feels like it.'.

"Lex this isn't London, wag kang matulog."

The latter did not even budge as if she was hearing nothing. Azranna just let her be because she might be tired after staying up the whole weekend for her deal with Core.

'Hey did you go there yesterday? I saw your IG post.'

'You mean L Patisserie? Yes! I wasn't expecting my mom to be a fan of their desserts.'

'Is it really that good? Or are they just overrated?'

'Nah. It lives up to the comments of the people on the internet. After we had our fill, my brothers wanted to go back to buy 3 boxes of each of their favorite desserts.'

Azranna couldn't help but smile at the mere mention of their cafe. Of course everytime they praise their goods and everything in between, she feels so proud of Lexine. From the tone of the walls, to the chairs, the design of the whole place screams Lexine. She agreed to put the dessert recipes and beverages she created and Azranna knew the customers would love every single one of them.

Even if the cafe is just a cover for her real full time job, Azranna still felt grateful that she gave her idea a chance and she even let her manage the cafe while she's running her business underground.

"Director Yu will inspect every room and they will pick one art work that will be featured in next week's Pazzio.  Now these paintings are going to be auctioned and you either get the full amount of your paintings or you can donate 50% of the amount to your chosen charity."

Lunch Time

12:15 PM

"Where do you want to eat?" Azranna asked Lexine as they were walking down the hallway.

The latter took her phone out and gave it to her. Azranna placed the password and it popped up a blog site that features authentic Korean cuisines.

"Dito? Let me get the address." She was so busy rummaging through her phone and Lexine's that she was stunned when Lexine's hand pulled her arm and what followed were gasps, a loud bump and screams.

"Oh my God Liana!"

"My back hurts!"

"Shithead! Hindi kase tumitingin sa dinadaanan."

"If our captain gets injured, hindi namin palalagpasin to!"

The hallway was instantly field with flies and those who wanted to enjoy the scene.

There scattered books on the floor, and two girls who fell after accidentally bumping each other.

Azranna looked at Lexine beside her who just gave her a 'that could've been you' look.

The girl on the other end adjusted her glasses and picked up the books that got mesed up on the floor.

Lexine's eyes didn't leave the girl as she observed how she moved.

"She hurt her ankle." Was all that Lexine said but the girl bit her lips to suppress any tears as she swallowed her cry of pain and apologized to the group of girls infront of her.

As I analyzed the situation, it wasn't her fault. These girls were hovering over almost the whole prt of the hallway as if they own it and now they're blaming this poor girl of bumping their so called captain.

'That nerd is roast!'

'How could Liana's friends let this pass?'

'That nerd will live a hell life here. Of course Greg would make sure of it.'

'Right! We know how protective the Student Council President is to his girlfriend.'

"I'm sorry." The girl wearing glasses muttered as she tried her best to bow and say her apologies.

One of the girls shot her a furious look. "Will your sorry matter if she gets injured?"

"Maglalakad ka na nga lang pumapalpak ka pa. Anong silbi mo?"

Liana tapped one of the girls' shoulders trying to stop them. She looked tearful as if she also hurt something on her body.

Lexine saw the whole thing and the woman's reaction made her smirk.

'Water works'

"Maraming tao, Kenn. Let's stop this." Malumanay na sambit nito sa kanyang ka grupo ngunit may mga luhang tumutulo na sa mga mata nito.

Liana isn't just an achiever and a known athlete in the school, she's also known for her beauty and for someone like her to cry, people's hearts would normally stir.

Those who didn't care about it or didn't know who was really awhile ago started to take Liana's side and shot the girl wearing glasses with contempt.

One member of the team felt so furious seeing her Captain cry that she looked at the girl who was shivering infront of them while her eyes were wide with fear.

"Look at what you've done." She gritted and with long strides, she was about land a strong slap on the nerd's face when a hand stopped her.

Her face twitched as the hand gripped hers like it was going to break her bones.

"A-aw! Who-----?"

Azranna warmly smiled at her but in the contrary, she gripped the woman's wrist tighter.

She felt elated when she saw sweat dripping from the bully's face.

"I left my friend to grab a snack but it seems like she got herself in trouble right away." Azranna's sudden appearance caused the hallway and everyone spectating to fall in silence and even Liana wasn't expecting to see this scene.

Someone is trying to defend a student who offended her and her group!

"Aray! Bi-bitawan mo ako!" The girl whose ID showed her name as 'Kelly' hissed. Her face went a few hues paler as she felt the pain in her wrist.

Acting as if she forgot about it, she immediately let go of Kelly's hands and showed off an apologetic yet sarcastic look.

"Oh! My bad! I'm not yet able to control my strength as I'm still working on it." She suddenly looked at the nerd girl and quickly peeked at her ID.

'Rouella Jane 'Lai' Ancajas'

BS CHEMICAL ENGINEERING

"Are you okay, Lai?" She asked the girl infront of her. Lai's eyes went wide as if she couldn't believe someone is siding with her.

'Who is this gorgeous woman? Isn't she disgusted by me?'

She couldn't answer for a second that's why Azranna took that opportunity to hug her.

'I need to make it more believeable.'

"You always get youself in trouble, clumsy Ella."

She made it sound like they were friends for a long time and what surprised all of them the most wasn't the fact that she defended the nerd, but that she was gorgeous!

Big round brown eyes, high pointed nose, natural blushing cheeks, and blood red lips that seemed to be void of any tint or lipstick.

Her hair was in a messy bun that only accentuated her milky white skin beneath her off shoulder blue Zara top and she has an hourglass like figure with long legs that looked endless with her midlength strap heels.

'Who's she? Ngayon ko lang siya nakita.'

'She looks regal'

'She's-----I'm fucking speechless.'

All the girls surrounding Liana were left speechless and could not utter a single word nor sound after seeing the woman infront of them.

Azranna's attention was at Lai's so she clearly did not hear any chatterings in the back.

"I'm okay. She must've been injured." Lai muttered and bit her lips again. She's afraid of these people and what they could do to her.

Azranna saw how Lai did not complain about her own swelling ankle and thought first of the woman who was really at fault.

'This character. She reminds me of myself when I was a child'

"My apologies about the matter. If there's a part of your body that hurts, I'll have my friend's personal doctor check up on you. This is his business card." Azranna took a gray business card from her wallet and handed it over to Liana and her friends.

Liana took it reluctantly and when she saw the name on the card, her jaw dropped.

"Dr. Mikael Valdez of Imperial Chains of Hospital?!"

Azranna gave out a sly smile. "Hmn. I'll inform him beforehand about your check up if you really need it."

Liana's heart skipped a beat. Just by seeing the logo of Imperial and the name on the card made her feeling uneasy.

Mikael Valdez isn't just any ordinary doctor you can meet on a daily basis. He's a top medicine researcher and a surgeon that practiced in all the prestigious hotels in the world. Her father is an Internal Medicine Physician and he would always say how he wished he could meet the doctor who has 'God's Hand' and learn a thing or two from him.

But this girl just casually gave her a business card and says he's her friend's family doctor?!

If she's connected or friends with someone who has a person like Mikael Valdez at his beck and call, what kind of identity do they have?

"You seem to not believe me. Don't worry he isn't a quack. You can give him a call and just tell him the name 'Lexine'. He'll help you out."

Liana and her friend's eyes were filled with confusion.

Liana chose to just ask her curiosity out. "Lexine? Is that your name?"

Azranna laughed. "Oh no no no. I'm sorry about that. My name is Azranna Faeroe Liege."

And then she raised her hand to point at her right direction and it landed on a woman whose eyes were closed as she leaned her body on the hallway's wall.

"That's Lexine. Lexine Vielcueva."

And as the room fell in silence once again, everyone's gaze followed where she pointed her hand to.

"Lex! Quit sleeping!" Azranna hissed and called out her attention.

Lexine raised her eyebrows before opening her eyes directly to Azranna's. "Hmn. Are you done?"

And what everyone saw next were a pair of cold yet dangerous amber eyes that could pierce right through a human's soul.
