Noah Kovacs' POV
I was still dreaming about last night and how our muscles were not moving a muscle. I cannot believe that Sheila was able to accommodate me even though she was not remembering anything. But if the sex act was any indication, she was remembering everything that I loved to do with her between the sheets.
I moved, tossing and turning on the ground before I felt that I was not on the ground but rather on a comfy bed. I don't remember how I got here but I was surprised to see that we were in a room. I think we're close to a village.
"That was very helpful. Thank you so much," Sheila said as she was coming from the door of the room. The only door that was available for the entrance before she closed it and she was smiling before I was sitting up on the bed.
"Well, looks who finally decided to wake up," she said with humor in her voice. She was carrying a basket and before I can see it, I smell food.
"I hope you're hungry. I don't know what you like but I have bread, ham, cheese, some wine, and I also got veggies and fruits to balance it out…" the rest was in her throat as I kissed her squarely on the mouth.
She moaned before she snaked her arms around me and I was wrapping her closer to me before pulling her onto the bed.
"We just got here and now you're thinking of having it again," she said as she was smiling at me. I smirked at her before I was kissing her stomach through the clothes.
"What can I say? I have a huge appetite for my wife," I replied before she laughed and she kissed me. I kissed her fervently before she was getting away from me. I missed her warmth already.
"Where are we?" I asked her as she was pulling out the food and laid it on the bed. She took a piece of the bread before she nibbled on the cheese as well.
"I think it was Paphos or something," she replied before I nibbled on the cheese and ham as well with the bread. It was delicious.
"I see," I replied as I was trying to calculate how long before we arrived at the castle. I don't know that the airplane will be leaving, considering we don't have money and passports to get out of the island. We will be stuck here for all I know.
"What are you thinking about?" Sheila broke my trains of thoughts as I was looking at her whiskey orbs.
"What?"
"Your face, you were thinking about something and I think you are making some plans," she said as I smiled. She knows how to make me confessed my mind to her. I chuckled before I was sipping on the wine.
Even blue blood needs to eat, you know.
Since we were not exactly vampires, we still can stomach human food but not too much. We still need blood and the last time I consumed blood was 2 days ago. Or was it 3 days now?
"I wish you would confront me, husband," Sheila said as she was linking her hand with mine. I smiled before I took her hand and kissed her knuckles.
"You are the most understanding person in my life. No one ever gives me shit before," I said before she laughed. Her eyes were crinkling at the end, she was genuine. I smiled at her.
"Surely, your parents would not be abandoning you? How about your best friend?" She asked as she was smiling at me. I shook my head.
"No, they were not…around much," I said.
"What do you mean?" she asked me as I was kissing her wrist.
"They died when I was young," I said before she gasped. She was caressing my cheek with her free hand before she kissed my hair.
"You don't have to tell me, my love. I understand," she replied as she was looking at me. I smiled before I was laying on the bed again as she was snuggling close to me. She was resting her head on my chest as I was sighing.
"They were killed by the Order of Hunters. I don't know what they did but they have broken one of the sacred laws that have been giving to us by the hunter to keep the peace between us and the humans," I said as I was caressing her arm. She was listening to me before I was looking at the ceiling.
"What did they do?" She asked quietly but I heard it all alright.
"They created me," I replied. She turned to me sharply as her eyebrows furrowed.
"What do you mean?" She asked before I was looking into her whiskey orbs.
"Sheila, I'm an abomination," I said before she was looking into my eyes, straight into my souls.
Sheila Belmonte's POV
Hearing the story of my husband was nice until he said that he was an abomination. I don't know if he knew that I was recovering my memories after hours and hours of sex. I need to tell him but I cannot. I'm afraid that he will be disappointed in me.
"Sheila, say something," he said as I was looking into his blue eyes. The blue eyes that would turn turquoise if he was mad or when he was ready to battle. He was the wielder of the Water element as I was the Wielder of Fire element.
We were in contrast with each other but fit together.
"I know if you will be disgusted by me now. I shouldn't have told you," he said as he was starting to leave before I was pulling him on the wrist. He turned to look at me as if he was trying to understand that he cannot comprehend from my action. Even though Noah was an abomination, he was still mine and my soulmate.
'Ours,' the darkness in me stated before I was pinning him to the bed as I was on top of him. I can see that he was aroused as his eyes were turning black, reflecting off my own.
"I don't care if you're an abomination or not. What I care about was that you're mine and I will always be yours. I love you, Noah Kovacs, so I hope that you have the strength to trust me in return," I said as he smiled at me.
"You know I always trust you," he replied as he cradled my face before pulling me to kiss. It was divine, the secret was out and I think I was ready to take that step with him.
I broke the kiss as I was holding his hands on my face before I was tasting his lips on mine just now. It tasted of ham, cheese, and bread. It was divine and I'm famished. But not for food.
"Now that you tell your deepest secret, I will tell you mine," I said as I was looking at him. He waited before I took a deep breath as I was trying to calm my heartbeat right now.
"When we made love last night," I started as Noah was smirking at me, "my memories came back and I think I know the whole truth now," I said as I was looking at him. He nodded. I sighed.
"I think it was not me that caused the fire but a set up so that I will be framed and the Hunters will come after me," I said as I was looking at Noah, my love, my husband. His eyebrows furrowed.
"Meaning?"
"It means that someone wants me that," I said finally.
"And who was this someone?"
"It's Monti Covaci, Aaron's father."
