Late

BACK To THE PRESENT

Jeez,am late for school,I got up from bed, quickly rushed to the bathroom, brushed my teeth and had my bath then I rushed to the sitting room to greet my granny,when I was about to step out of the house,I heard my granny calling me back to come and eat,i immediately rushed back in and took a slice of bread and put jam on it and imediately put another one on it and started munching on it while I was also drinking my tea with it and imediately rushed outside holding my bread.

The distance from my house to school is not far so it will only take me about fifteen minutes to get to school if I run,I started running to school in order to reach school before my class begin,on getting to school I saw the gate closed, when I noticed the gate was closed I started calling out to the person in charge of the gate, when the person opened the gate I started explaining to him that am a student of the school I even showed him my ID card before he allowed me to enter, immediately I had the opportunity to enter the school I ran straight to my class, when I reached the class I was already late because the teacher has already started teaching the class. I tried to explain myself but before I could say anything my English teacher who was a petite woman around the age of thirty asked me to come to the front of the class to carry a stool above my head while kneeling down,i did according to what the teacher told me,few minutes later my teacher told me to go and sit down,when I stood up my feet were shaking making it hard to walk and my hands were hurting due to carrying of the stool for about fifteen minutes, when my teacher saw me she called two boys to assist me to my sit,I usually sit at the back of the class,the main reason I sit down at the back of the class is because I love staying away from people.when I sat down on my sit, for an unknown reason I was feeling weird inside as if something wants to get out of my body but I had to endure until school end, when I couldn't take it anymore I decided to go to the restroom, when I reached the restroom I immediately splashed water on my face to calm down,when I looked into the mirror above the sink what I saw shocked me,my eyes that were dark as the night was already blue as the sea and emitting a faint gold light,I immediately closed my eyes, to my surprise when I opened it, my eyes were already back to the normal colour, thinking that it was an illusion I went back to class,few hours later school ended.
