THE MARK

I followed it in and saw a man inside the hut.

Welcome my son,the man said,I just stood there looking dumbfounded at the man, don't you remember me,the man asked,it was only when he asked me the question that I snapped out of the daze I was in. Looking at the man, I suddenly realized that he was the person carrying a dog,who motioned me to follow him and the dog he was carrying that time was the dog I followed to the hut, seeing the way they tricked me,I was really embarrassed, seeing that I was feeling embarrassed,he told me that they didn't have any other choice but to lure me to their place, that they were not bad people. After listening to their explanation,I asked the man what he and his dog wanted from me, the man replied by saying that he wanted to show me something that is pertaining to my life, remembering how the man tricked me using his dog,I decided not to follow him and the dog and just go home,but before I could step out of the door,I felt a sharp pain at the back of my head and my eyes was getting blurry then I heard the man talking to the dog that he does not have enough time,that this was the only way to save me,then I blacked out.

Waking up early in the morning,I felt a sharp pain at the back of my head,as I felt the pain, the event of what happened last night started reminiscing it self to my brain, while I was remembering all what happened,I heard a knock on my door, telling the person to come in I sat down on my bed and pretended as if I was not in pain. The person that entered was no other than my granny,I immediately greeted her and she replied by asking me how my night was,then I decided to tell her that I won't be going to school and she also agreed with me,i went to the bathroom to take my bath,while I was bathing I saw a mark on my chest,the mark was just like a tattoo but there was something strange about it,it was a drawing of a dog head,but the dog eyes were blue with a faint gold light emitting from it,they were just like the ones I saw when my eyes suddenly change in the class, what surprised me the most was that I could feel the energy coming out of mark,I immediately finished bathing and went out of the bathroom to dress up, while I was dressing up ,I noticed that anytime my hand mistakenly touch the mark,the dog like mark will suddenly move as if enjoying my touch, this shocked me really hard that I was even asking myself how the mark got to my chest,but something was telling me that it had something to do with the elderly looking man and his dog, but I put the feeling at the back of my mind. When I left my room,I went straight to the dinning table, when I reached there my granny was already there waiting for me because it is part of the rules in the house that we are not supposed to eat until we are all complete on the dinning table just to show that there's unity and love between us. After eating,I went to play with a friend from school then from there went to work.

At work, while I was washing the plates,one of my colleagues came to tell me that someone was asking of me,I went outside to meet the person asking of me but to my surprise the people asking of me were no other than the old man and his dog,at first I wanted to ignore them but I had a lot of question to ask,on getting to them the man motioned me to sit down at one of the tables and chairs that were empty, when I sat down i had already determined within me that I was going to ask a lot of questions from them and they were going to answer me no matter what.
