It was early in the morning on the sacred hill of Alnus, where thousands upon thousands of men, both humans and monsters gathered to embark on a great expedition of conquest. But unlike the many expansion in the past, this was about to be the most ambitious yet.
The expedition was manned with veteran soldiers, wise and powerful mages, and some of the strongest, fiercest orcs and goblins, altogether totalling a mindboggling 65,000 troops are to be sent to the other side. Abundantly supplied, intensely trained and led expertly, it was a force to be reckoned with.
It's funny to think what one story one drunk old merchant from the inn of Italica could make many people believe. Though it was taken as another ramble of a drunk, it wasn't until a fascinated by a well-known merchant took an interest in the story of a Stone gate structure in the middle of the hill. From town to town many visitors would speak of the Structure in the middle of the holy hill, it spread like wildfire and reach the capital in mere days.
Ever since the news of the appearance of the gate on the holy site had spread to the capital, Emperor Molt Sol Augustus immediately order an expedition to 'explore' the other side of the gate. But in reality that was not his intention, really what he wanted was another piece of land to call his own. Emperor Molly was no different from his ancestors and continued to spread his influence into the unknown parts of the continent, and conquer Kingdom and tribes with a brutality that makes the empire of earth nothing more than a pug.
This was the reason why the empire lasted so long throughout the era and continues to be at the top of the pyramid.
With the soldiers in formation, both army and axillary and the Wyvern ready to fly out into the unknown. General Calais made the call and sent his troop to march forward into the unknown...

[Ginza, Tokyo- Japan- 1145hrs]
Watching the scenery of the busy Tokyo street from the sky train, a young Sergeant repeatedly snaps his fingers rapidly whiles creating a small green electrical spark as he stared out of the window of the Train. Tej is one of the Special Operations Unit's top medical expert as well as one of the two best close quarter combat, (or CQC), alongside his long-trusted partner, Sergent Scarlet Macmillian. Mainly employ as a scout for Firefly as the result of the team's 100% survival rate, meaning his role as a medic was not necessary.
It was supposed to be a relaxing week off for Sgt. Tej Thapa, After all of the missions his team has accomplished in the middle east and ended the London Incident, this was the day he was hoping for. But then he got an enthusiastic Theo who keeps ferociously inviting him to come with him to Japan so he and his twin brother could attend an "Art convention".
He was hoping to go back to Bristol, but out of all people they invited him. Later, another operator from Firefly decided to tag along, It was Sergeant Scarlet Macmillian, Tej's most trusted partner. Maybe this wouldn't be too back, he heard japan is not too bad this year. Maybe he could have his week of relaxation there, whiles still, (somehow), coping with the twins.
The Nepali operator then drew his attention to the traffic light he watched it many times turning red to green. He keeps snapping and snapping his finger without any signs of stopping. Everything the light turns green it slowly reminded him about the last two years and all the way back to childhood and till today.
"Tej! Tej!" A voice called out. but as the young sergeant didn't pay any attention. the voice would repeat several more times but to no avail. Suddenly a surge of pain could be felt across his cheeks.
"What the hell?!" he loudly cried. He then faced a Red-haired female with two separate eye colour, "Oh? Macmillian? Any need for that?"
"Because you weren't listening," she huffed.
Tej chuckle at her usual attitude and then replies, "You're so Scottish." He then turned to the side to see the Cook twins on the opposites side of the bus talking about upcoming summer Doujinshi as well as exchanging pictures of the convention. Tej gave a brief sigh knowing that they both have a job to do and so does he and Scarlet. Tej then look at his Scottish partner with disappointment. "They need to be more focused! And when is this train going to stop?"
Scarlet chuckled. "And you say I was the one who has issues with patience?"
"Ha. Ha. Very funny..." Tej rolled his eyes in annoyance. "It's not impatience, It's my adrenaline pumping."
"Whatever you say, Thapa." His Scottish partner gave a light chuckle before giving out a sign. She leans back of her seat comfortably as she stretches both arms and legs. "Man... You have to enjoy this moment while it lasts. It's not every day we get a week off."
"We did go through hell and back," Tej recalls as his mind briefly thought back to that day, "I'm surprised that we're all still in one piece."
Scarlet then leans toward Tej and looks at the window. "We sure go lucky... London was sure was a Bitch."
"I know." Tej softly replies as more memories start to flow back into his mind. "Poor Daniel..." Tej now clearly remember it all, he'd remember one time he had to amputate one of his squadmate's leg. It was a rapid decision made by Tej but looking back at it certainly made him think twice about that situation.
Scarlet sigh at the mention of that name. Sergeant Daniel MacArthur was one of the best marksmen she'd ever know in her military career. No one ever came close trying to match his deadly accuracy, even Scarlet. Trying to hitting a 5p coin from the range of 1500m was something to brag about and with all seriousness an impossible feat. But aside from all his combat skills, Daniel was a man with a sharp mind and a loyal colleague to have.
"I heard he's resting back at Glasgow. Also heard that he could walk again." Scarlet smiles.
"Really?"
"Yeah, it amazing what this century could offer. Maybe the next step is to replace us with machines."
Tej simply laugh at the thought. "Yeah like hell they would. Finding a replacement for some tools are simple but trying to replace themselves is impossible."
The Nepali Sergent eyes' suddenly went froze in their current motion and his mind was going wild. Visions of a monument in the middle of a city filled his mind. The sound of gunfire and scream followed as he saw men clad in medieval armour on horseback charge out of the monumental structure.
The next moment he felt a cold feeling that surrounded his face. He then was snapped out of his mind and was brought back to reality, Tej was slightly confused on why he was laying on the floor but was dumbstruck by what he'd experienced.
"Hey, mate are you ok?" Theo asks the Nepali Sergeant. Tej gave a quick look at his surroundings to see a crowd was forming around him. The Nepali Sergeant's thought would be interrupted by an announcement from the train, "The next stop is Shinbashi. Shinbashi", the voice of the train spoken, "The doors will open up on the left."
But before he got back up on his feet, he found that his vision slightly darkened. Realising he was wearing Scarlet's Rayban sunglasses were on his face and aggressively took it off. Whiles wiping his face in confusion, Tej felt someone touching his left shoulder.
"Hey, Tej." He turned to his back to see Scarlet and the rest of his group. "That's one hell of a fit you had there." She leans closer to his ears and whisper. "And I suggest that you keep the glasses on. Your eyes and cheeks are a bit green."
Tej flinch at the mention of his eyes and hastily put back on the glasses. Ever since the London incident, Tej was forced to use his supernatural ability to save his team from the rift, breaking his promises that he swore to his father. But somehow his sense was reawakened by a feeling. It felt different as if something was coming...
He dragged his finger over the green long that was glowing from his eyes that stretched down to his cheeks. "Fuck me." He muttered.
As the doors of the train opened, Tej hastily rushes out of the train with his group who attempted to catch up with the Nepali Sergent.

Well, the operation did go too well... Not after getting ambush by a squadron of Vietnamese scouts waiting for them as they're retreating towards the base, Itami and the rest of his square were wiped out and was sent back to the main base to wait for a new operation. Command has instructed them to keep themself busy until the times come for the next training, but 2nd Lieutenant Yoji Itami took it literally and decided to immediately head off to summer doujinshi. It all happened so fast, nobody was there to stop Itami from leaving the base and head out with his civilian clothing on.
Right now Itami was delighted to be visiting the convention and there was no stopping him. "The next stop is Shinbashi. Shinbashi" the voice of the train spoken, "The doors will open up on the left."
As he exited the train makes his way to the exit of the station. Itami reaches the top of the escalator and started to walk off but he was too distracted by his phone and bashes his head into a pillar. a split second of the impact Itami could get a glance of three girls that flash in his mind. An elf, a mage and a Goth lolita girl. Though he didn't know who they are or why he thought of them.
"Ow..." Itami woke up to a deafening ring as his mind was still recovering from the accident. He softly rubs his two hands over his face to soften the pain.
"Are you ok?" Itami heard a man speaking in English. At that moment Itami's vision was back to normal and he saw a young foreign man who was looking down at him and by the looks and accent, he could roughly tell that this foreign man was English due to his past exercise with the British and Americans.
"I'm ok... I'm ok." Itami replied in slight broken English. "I should've been more careful" Itami got back to his feet with the assistance of the foreign man.
The person then bends down only to pick up Itami's phone that was left on the floor. "Emyu?" he chuckles. "I see you're a man of culture too." the young man gives Itami his phone back which he gladly accepted.
"Thank you very much, friend. Are you here for the Doujinshi too?!"
The English man chuckle, "Hell yeah me and my..." Suddenly the English man was interrupted by another group of people, all apart from one looks foreign. And he swears that one of them looks exactly like the person in front of him but with a thin moustache.
"Why the hell did you run from us, Theo?" The Asian-looking male asked. "And who the hell is he?"
Theo looks at the Nepali Sergent with slight confusion. "Just a civilian in distress."
Tej nodded to Theo's answer and locked his head towards Itami, "You look familiar, do I know you?" Tej squinted his eyes before recognising this Japanese man. It was Yoji Itami, that lazy-ass SFG trainee from Okinawa. After knowing Tej could help but laugh at his old friend.
"Hey, Tej? Why are you laughing?" Scarlet asked as she was closely followed by the Twins
"Why? Because I know this retard." Tej got up alongside Itami. "This is 2nd Lieutenant Yoji Itami. I met him during Okinawa with MacArthur."
"Oracle?!" Itami hastily got up on his feet. "Since when did you get here? I did see you anywhere in the Royal Marine camp."
Scalet flinches at the name Itami just said, 'Oracle? Why did he call that?', she thought.
"We're not participating." Tej replies, "Oh I almost forgot. This is Scarlet Macmillan. And these nut jobs here are...." then he was interrupted by Theo.
"I'm Theo Cook and this is my twin Tom Cook and we're here to attend this year's summer Doujinshi."
"Wait! You here for the Doujinshi too?!" The world Doujinshi echoed through Itami's mind, "Wait a minute..." Itami gave Tej a sly smile, "Heyyyy... Are you here for the Doujinshi too?"
"What? Hell no! What the fuck do you take me for?" The green-eyed Sergent then stormed off the exit of the station to which his Scottish partner followed.
"Why did he call you Oracle right there?" the Scottish Sergent interrogates. "I've never heard anyone outside of our team call you that. So what gives?"
"When I was in Okinawa, he just asked the name of the squad, so I told him it was Oracle. I never thought about what he said until he kept calling me Oracle." Tej chuckles, "I think he butchered his English somewhere on that line."
Scarlet sigh, "You could just tell him, Tej." She quietly mutters.

"What is that?"
"Is this some kind of prop for the convention?"
"Hell, that's some good effect! It just appeared out of nowhere...!"
A Monumental structure that resembles something of greek architecture had appeared on the centre of the bridge, emerged a horde of horsemen and footmen donned with armour reminiscent of Medieval Europe. They were accompanied by the sort of monsters one would usually find in fantasy. We know them as orcs, goblins, and trolls. By now everything had come to a complete stop, as the crowd just looked on in absolute awe and wonder. Many tourists from all over the world were vacationing in Japan and were enjoying the sights. Some were anime fans and planned to visit the Summer Doushinji Convention in Ginza district.
After a war trumpet was sounded, all of the medieval soldiers, horsemen, and monster charge toward the bystanders with fury and hate. Disregarding both age and nationality, they continue to massacres everyone around them.
They launched themselves at the people who had just happened to be there. It was as if slaughter itself was their goal.
The army from another world planted a purple banner on a mountain of corpses and loudly declared: "In the name of his Imperial majesty Molt. Sol Agustus! We the Empire declared the conquest and domination of all these lands."
Soon the mutilated bodies of people raging from a young child to an elderly was a common sight to be seen. Cars were burned or flipped by the armoured Orcs that roam with the sword-wielding soldiers.
By now the streets of Chome 6 were painted red from all of the killings and execution of the medieval army. Even with the response of the Police, the Medieval army was just too large and overwhelming. Like a swarm of ants, the medieval army exited the gate in hundreds not thousands by the minute.
"This is Ginza Chome-6 reporting! We are overrun! I repeat we are overrun, needing immediate reinforcement-...." then the radio came to a sudden static. The SWAT officer was crush by a massive club of the ogre.
As the SWAT team was getting overrun by the imperial forces, General Calais ordered his Wyverns and horses riders to scout ahead and 'destroy' as much property as possible to show what kind of threat they're dealing with. He could only smile to his imagination at what wealth, power and woman await him when he conquers this land. He could imagine the Victory parade that will occur when he returns to the imperial capital with the wealth and slave he brought, this is certainly a deed that would grant him a place in the heavens.
"Do not falter to their sorcery men! We are the imperial army! We are undefeatable!" All of the soldiers gave an intimidating war cry as they press on with the attack. Soon the imperial would fully overrun the SWAT teams, killing some whiles causing most to retreat.

Tej, Scarlet, Itami and the Twins continue to walk through Shinbashi station. As they were going up the escalator, Tej then saw something that he shouldn't be seeing.
"What the Fuck...." Tej saw two wyverns flown past the station. he wipes his eyes to make sure he's not half asleep from Itami and the Twins nerd talk, but as another flown past by he now know it's all real.
Tej give Itami a tap on the shoulder. "Hey, Itami. Did you see something just pass by before?" Tej then saw it again, his eyes were in shock and his body froze.
Itami gave the Nepali a confused look, "No... What's going on?" Itami was then dragged by Tej to the nearest window.
"That's a bloody dragon. I don't remember Japan having them" Itami was in shock, he was just standing there shaking unable to move.
"Crap...oh, crap...Oh, crap. Oh, Crap! It couldn't be... T-That's Impossible...." He then rushes out of the station.
"Itami wait!"
Seeing Itami rushed off, Scarlet and the Twins came up to the Nepali Sergent to investigate "Tej what the...." Soon the three operator's eyes were in awe then locked their eyes on a dragon that is slaughtering every person in the street. "Fuck is going on?..."
"All of you! With me! Now!"
