Chapter 12

(Hokages office 2 1/2 months later)

Standing in the office of the Hokage was team 13 looking for another mission. These last 2 months they've been on 5 C-rank tow of those become B- rank, and 3 B-rank with one of them reaching A-rank inovlving a few missing-nin. Today they were suppose to have the day off but the Hokage had sent for them and here they are. Waiting for the mission. Blowing out smoke from his pipe the Hokage looked on in seriousness as he looked at Anko.

" Sometime yesterday some of our ANBU found an old lab of Orochimaru's in the Land of Fire. We believe he's abonded it sometime ago. They didn't go inside to investigate of course since they have no experience in dealing with Orochimaru's cunningness, but you know how he works Anko. That's why I'm sending you and your team on this B-rank mission. Team 13 is the best the village has." The Hokage said putting the scroll in front of Anko on his desk.

Hearing the name Orochimaru Anko went ridged and started clenching her fits and teeth. Yakumo, Oormi, and Raiden noticed it, but knew that she'll keep it together. "Lord Hokage are you sure it's one of his labs sir?" Anko asked.

"Yes were sure, but like I said it seems pretty old. That dosen't mean that there's no useful information he could have left behind in his rush to leave the Land of Fire. This mission is a search and destroy mission. Find any infromation then destroy the lab." The Hokage said

Anko picked up the scroll and motioned for your team to follow her. Outside Anko stopped and looked at her team. "Alright we'll meet at the gate in 30mins pack for a a few day travel. Even if the lab is said to be abonded we need to proceed with extrem caution" Anko said seriously.

In the Land of Sound formely the Land of Rice Field that was on the border of the Land of Fire. They were know for exporting rice and wheat, but when a certain snake arrived that all changed when he took over the land. One night everything was fine, but when the sun rose a man was in power, and somehow convinced the Feudal Lord to create a hidden village naming it the Hidden Sound Village.

In an underground bucker sitting on a throne like chair was man that has very pale skin, golden eyes with slitted pupils, purple markings around his eyes and fang-like teeth. He also has pronounced cheekbones and straight waist-length black hair with some locks covering and framing his face or to his shoulders. His wearing plain grey garbs with a black polo and pants underneath, a thick purple rope belt tied in a large knot behind his back, blue tomoe-shaped earrings, and shinobi sandals with bandages around his calves. This was Orochimaru and standing next to was his right-hand man Kabuto Yakushi. Kabuto has onyx eyes and ash-grey hair, which he normally keeps in a ponytail. His most consistent feature are his black rimmed circular glasses. His wearing a dark purple shirt with a high collar, a white under-shirt, and dark purple pants with a white cloth waistband with a blue forhead protector with a sound note on it. Looking deep in thought Orochimaru was leaning his head on his hand.

"Kabuto I have a job for you." Orochimaru said looking on his right towards Kabuto. Kabuto walked over to Orochimaru and kneeled.

"Yes Lord Orochimaru?" Kabuto said with a small smile on his face. He always loved when his master would call on him to do his important work.

"In the Land of Fire there is an old labotory of mine that has some research that I just remembered about. It's not all that important but I would like to see if anything has come of a certain project." Orochimaru said looking down on his faithful right-hand man.

"What is this research Lord Orochimaru?" Kabuto asked getting up to stand infront of him.

"Oh it's just a Byakugan eye that recived form the main branch of the Hyuga clan. In truth I had more but I was trying to see if I could combine diffrent dojutsu to create something. Of course my experements failed, but I never used the purest Byakugan I had. I left it there sumerged in the essence of other unused Byakugan I had. I was just wondering if something came out of it is all." Orochimaru said with a mildly bored tone.

"Then would you like me to go a retreve it for you Lord Orochimaru." Kabuto said while pushing up his glasses.

"No. I need you here so we can start the planning the fall of the Hidden Leaf Village. Just send some failed experements. Three shoudl be enough." Orochimaru said waving his hands dismissively as Kabuto left.

Arriving in a room full of cells Kabuto went to a certian cell and inside was three people. Two guys and a women. Kabuto looked in with a smrik 'these three will do. There curse marks are incomplete and they want to satisfy Lord Orochimaru hehe.' As the three in the cell looked up they saw Kabuto with a smile on his face.

"So you three Lord Orochimaru has a very important job for you guys. Your going to g retrive something important in one of the old labs." Kabuto said opening the cell. The first to come out was a real skinny guy that was balde on top but had hair down to his knees on the side and back; wearing a whool kimono robe, grey pants, and brown stary sandals complete with a purple rope like belt. His name is Eito the oldest of the three. The next was the women she had a mowhawk that stood straight up wearing a black shirt, green pants that goes to her knees, and green sandals this was Mao. The last one was a big guy that had to duck to get out of the cell with bandages covering his arms, chest up to his neck, and legs. He was wearing a lose grey shirt, grey shorts, and blue sandals. His name is Daichi the so called leader of the three and the only one who could go to cruse mark level 2.

"Here's where you three need to go in the Land of Fire. Your looking an eye in one of the labs. Retrive it and bring it back. Those are Lord Orochimaru's order." Kabuto said as the four of them where outside the hideout. Taking the scroll, opening it and seeing where they have to go they took off. Going back inside to Orochimaru he was still sitting in the chair and had a slight smile when he saw Kabuto come back in.

"So who did you send?" Orochimaru asked. Fixing his glasses " I sent Mao, Eito, and Daichi." Kabuto said. Laughing Orochimaru said "There good enough. Even if they should get caught there completly devoted to me and would never betray me if they know I'm counting on them."

After a few day's landing in front of a entrey way built into the ground with a snake symbol on it was Anko, Oormi, Yakumo, and Raiden. Looking at the entrance Anko had on the most serious face her tteam has ever seen. Using a hand signs she signaled Raiden {scout the place of any charka signatures} touching the ground and closing his eyes Raiden reached out looking for any signs for chakra. After 10 seconds of coming up empty Raiden looked at his team shaking his head.

"Alright listen we place Raidens explosive tags every few meters since his are more powerful than the regulars. Let's go." Anko said as she went in the hole first. After everyone was inside and Anko had taken the first step the snake like tourches on the wall lit up seeing that Anko muttered "This is definitely his hideout." Silently walking team Anko was carful where they stepped as before they got here Anko explained everything she knew about Orochimaru, and how when she was a genin and taking as Orochimaru's apprentice she was happy, until he place the curse mark on her and left the village abandoning her. After walking, placing explosive tags, and avoding traps they came to stop seeing three passage ways in front of them.

"Ok this is a problem." Oormi said looking at the passages infront of her and her team.

"Yeah tell me about it." Yakumo said.

"So sensei. What's the move?" Raiden said looking at Anko. Meanwhile Anko was trying to think of a plan so they could all stay together. After a minute she came up with something. Taking out four wireless radio's and passed three of them to her team.

"Here's the plan. We'll keep in communication at all times. I want Raiden to create a shadow clone because I'm going right, Oormi and Yakumo along with Raidens clone is going left, and Raiden will be going in the middle. That way Yakumo and Oormi will have a 3-man team and since Raiden can pretty much make as many as he wants he'll be fine." Anko explained.

Hearing the explaintion Raiden decied to see if now that there deeper in the hideout if he'll detect any chakra. Sensing nothing else Raiden placed a kiss on Oormi lips before he went on ahead. I was quick but it brought the message through 'stay safe.'

If Raiden would have sensed around him instead just in front of him he would have been able to sense the three chakra's coming there way. Soon Mao, Eito, and Daichi landed infront of the hideout and entered not paying any attention to the torches that were already lit. Walking down the tunnel with the traps already disabled they got to the three way tunnel faster than team Anko.

"Well which way?" Mao asked looking at the three passage ways

"It's three tunnels and three of us." Eito said

"Right. I'll take the middle." Daichi said.

"Then I got right." Eito said and began walking in the right tunnel, while Mao seeing as they already left went into the left tunnel.

Anko was going into every door there was looking for some clue of where her old sensei was now, while also looking for the labatory that she knew was here. Going door to door and not finding anything but bedrooms, but coming to the last door it was diffrent. It was a huge metal double doors. Opening them with the doors creaking from the rust Anko went in and instead of the orange flame the tourches lit in a blue flame that showed that she was in a prison of some kind with a pit in the middle of the room and cells all around the room

"This is team leader I found some kind of prison over. What's your stats?" Anko said in her radio while still going in the room and looking around.

"This is Jasmine of Fire were in some kind of lab but there's nothing in here but chains hanging from the celing. It looks pretty fuck up over." Oormi said

"This is Kurama. I agree with Jasmine of Fire over." Yakumo said.

"This Wolf I found a lab and some notes. I'm going around, sealing the notes, and there's this eyeball in some kind of green liquid. Over." Raiden said looking around the lab he just found.

Anko was about to go too Oormi and Yakumo when the door behind her opened. Taking out a kunai from her sleeve looking at who came in. Eito came inside to see a woman with a kunai looking at her

"Who the hell are you?" Eito said

When Yakumo, Oormi, and the clone of Raiden was walking down the left hallway there where doors on either side of the tunnel. After opening each door they came to the conculsion that this place was a hallway for tourtor. Each room would sink of old blood. Old dried up blood was found on the floor, beds, and celing. Chains with hooks hung from the celing, chains attached from the bed, and walls. Opening the last door they came to a lab/ tourtor room. Inside where beakers and test tubes along with chains on the celing . The torches that lit where a deep red in color making the place look more creepy than it has to be.

After telling Anko where they were Yakumo and Oormi looked around to see of there was anything that was of value, since they couldn't decied they started to seal all the papers they could take, but before they could take anymore paper work the doors opened and a woman walked in looking around making the team of three converage together and llok at this new face.

"The mission never said kids would be here." Mao said looking at the kids infront of her.

"Why are you here?" Oormi said getting in a defensive postion along with Yakumo and the clone of Raiden.

"None of your bussiness. I guess I have to kill you kids since you've found this place." Mao said before she dashed at them.
