Business Trip

In the biggest meeting room in the CatCo. skyscraper building we see many people gathered and waiting for the meeting to start.

The room was quiet until the door was abruptly opened by a blonde woman wearing a business suit and high heels walked in with powerful steps. As she entered the meeting room she looked around the room and started the meeting as she sat in the main chair.

"Okay, as you all know S.T.A.R. Labs are unveiling some new tech in three days in an event in partnership with the Wayne Enterprises. They are releasing a new type of lab equipment that can help research in microbiology. And as a big news outlet, we received an invitation letting up to ten people to attend the event and as such, we need to send people to Central City. I will be going as my old loved rival, Lois Lane is going to be there so I need to flaunt in front of her a little bit. As for the other nine, I will choose from this room so whoever I point at will be coming with me. Let's see you, you, you, not you, you, y never mind, you, you, you, you, you, and you. Okay, that's everything you're all dismissed." Cat

After Cat dismiss everyone she got up to leave until she heard a voice speaking up to her.

"Ms. Cat you accidentally chose me to come. I'm an editor shouldn't I be staying here?" Kronos

"No, I chose you to be my date for the night. Knowing Lois she will probably be bringing that thick slice of a man with her and I don't want to lose my footing with her because I didn't bring a date." Cat

After giving her reason Kronos decided to go along as it might be fun.

It's now the next day and we see Kronos sitting next to Cat while she's driving her car. In the back seats, you can see Supergirl in her alter ego Linda Lee typing away at her computer.

Hearing the loud typing from the back Cat decided to talk to Linda as it was distracting her.

"Linda I know you and your cousin are fast typers but can you be a little bit quieter." Cat

"Sorry, Ms. Cat I'll try to keep it down." Linda

"Ha, so Kronos do you have anything planned while we are in Central City?" Cat

"Oh yes, I want to see the Flash. I heard he visit a burger joint frequently. It's said he uses his power to do food runs once in a while. I will go there and try my luck." Kronos

"So you're telling me a superhero is using his powers to do food runs, that can't be true? Should heroes not use their superpower for that kind of thing." Cat

"I don't know but the rumors say the fast-food restaurants get calls telling them to stick their orders out the drive-thru and the food is pick up by a streak of lighting." Kronos

While the two are talking about the Flash and him doing food runs Linda in the back seat is hanging her head in shame as she knows the truth and once asks one of the members of the Flash Family to do a food run for her.

They kept on the road for a couple more hours until they reach Central City. They made it to the city around sundown Cat then drove straight to their hotel where they check-in before they separated.

After checking in Cat dragged Kronos to the bar, while Linda was left alone to go up to her room.

At the bar, we can see Cat pushing a drink into Kronos hands before forcing it down his throat.

"Hey, Kronos now that I got you alone what do you think about Linda." Cat

"Ha, I think she's a nice girl and all but if I had to say something about her it would be she's a bit of a klutz at times." Kronos

"Haha, that may be true but that's not what I meant. Haven't you been noticing her taking secretive glances at you during the whole car ride? I think she has a thing for you." Cat

"No, you're probably mistaken as I'm sure if she liked me she would have shown more signs then just looking at me." Kronos

"Oh come on you can't be that dance! In the whole office, the only one who she's been looking at like that is only you. Try asking her out, you might be surprised." Cat

"Haha, sure, but why are you telling me this?" Kronos

"As you said, Linda is a nice girl but a bit of a klutz. She will probably mess up when she's asking you out and none of us are willing to see that so it's up to you." Cat
