The boy in my class

I had sat in my normal seat, and the day hadn't felt any different then any other, so I went on with my business until 4th period.. There he was. The hottest guy in my school. He sat by all his other guy friends and chatted with them. Everyone had their specific table of friends, popular girls got one section, popular guys got another, and then regualr girls like me had a section with my friends, anf then regualr guys and their friends in their section. He was one of the popular guys. I sat by my friends, chatting with them, but sneaking a few glances up at him. The class had ended and me and my friends got our stuff and walked out to the hallway, the new boy and his friends had stayed in the classroom stilling chatting. But when they came out it felt like they were all at a higher level then me. Like I should be doing their homework, or giving them soda, coffee, or tea. He stopped right in front of me and my friends and just said "Names Max" I stuttered saying "M-my names Skylar, or Sky" He smiled and said: "Nice to meet you Skylar. " I blushed and smiled to. "Nice to meet you too Max." I responded. He had then walked away with his friends and my friends all surrounded me asking how it felt, what was I thinking in that moment, I had answered with "nothing." I felt flustered, and I was thinking of what we was going to happen next period. My friends were all shocked, I hadn't thought of me and max together like they all did. Next period was cooking, that was easy for me but my friends struggled with it. I walked into my cooking class and max and his friend were in the corner like usual. Me and my friends chose our table and started to cook some dumplings. My friends got my supplies I started cooking. I made 5 dumplings, one for me and my friends. The teacher came over to check what we were doing and I showed her the dumplings I had made. "I have made dumplings Mrs. Peterson. "Skylar nice job! They look well cooked. " Mrs. Peterson said.
