Biology class

I walked out of cooking class and into my Biology class, which sadly didn't have any of my friends, and I took my usual seat by the window. Max usually sat behind me and never said anything or answered any of the teachers questions. I had answered all the questions I could and do all the notes. Max tapped Emily's shoulder "Hey, Skylar right? " "Yea, what do you need? " I said still facing forwards. "Will you come to the rooftop during lunch? I have a question for you. " Max asked. "Sure" I replied as I went back to writing the notes. The last few minutes of class we got to socialize and move about freely. Max walked over to me and stood next to me while I was trying to make a new friend in my biology class. "How we doing Emily? " He put his arm on my shoulder and leaned towards her. "Hi? I'm doing okay I guess..? Why you ask? " she replied. "No particular reason. " He walked away. "Who is he? " Emily asked. "He's Max, hottest guy in school, how did you not feel nervous or anything talking to him? " I replied. "I'm not that attracted to him. Plus I'm a lesbian. When I'm alone with guys then I get nervous and scared. I don't trust any of them." Emily said. My jaw dropped as she said that. "you're a lesbian!? have you had a girlfriend!? how was it!? is it the same as a male and female? I want to know ALL the details. " I replied. "Later." Emily said as the bell rang. "I'm going to chemistry. " Emily said. "Oh, I go to lunch this period, see you later hopefully! " I said as I walked towards the lunchroom.
