What are you doing with my sister? (1)

John Nang sat in the passenger seat of the patrol car; with the uniform general duties officer he had been assigned patrol with. This, for him and his team was meant to be a means to ensure that they did not become separated from other police members and could pitch in with general duties when there was a need.

The problem was, particularly for him and his trusted staff members the last few shifts they had been assigned were with rookie officers on patrol duties. They spent more time explaining matters to these rookie officers rather than doing what these shifts were designed to do, keep general policing skills up to date.
