No, a proper wedding (5)

11 June, Nang Family Villa, City K

As Matthew walked out, Bronwyn turned and looked at her soon to be parents-in-law as she sat down.

Silence filled the air before John said "Mother, Father, I can see you have something to say…"

Harry quietly said "We do not know what to say.  Your sister eloped and denied your mother the pleasure of being mother of the bride.  Now we have you rushing a wedding because of a problem…"

John tensed.  He knew on Saturday the news of what happened to him not only had shocked his parents but had them still blaming themselves.  He could see how they were seeing this marriage, a means to deal with a problem that they blamed themselves for creating the opportunity for it to happen.

John turned to Bronwyn and saw her slightly smile at him.  The look in her eyes told him that she would have his back regardless of anything.
