A sweet interlude (2)

19 June, Paul's apartment, City K

Steven sensing Paul's exasperation at his words, smiled.  Sometimes it was so easy to wind Paul up, but ever since he married Abigail there was no doubts for anyone that he doted and spoiled Abigail.  To him, it was obvious that his actions were about the recognition that he could have so easily missed the relationship and wanted to show Abigail in every way how important she was to him.

Steven, paused for a about half a minute before smirking and adding "Well, you want to give your wife what she wants, and honestly how many managers have I had complaining to me the last couple of weeks about you are snapping their heads off.  Even a break of a couple of days will do you the world of good, because you will relax.  Plus, the benefit of borrowing a plane, even if it only one way for me, is that I do not have to fly commercial."

Paul quickly said, "And you think getting a slot to fly into Changi will be easy?"
