The next day, everything was ready for the wedding. Zhou Ling was getting dressed in her house. A few of the elderly women came to help her. her red dress was very simple yet extravagance still oozed from it. It looked like she had taken keen care when choosing it. It hugged her body and flowed perfectly at the bottom.

Her veil had golden embellishments that shimmered in the morning lights.

As she stood before the mirror, Zhou Ling took a deep breath.

She admired the intricate details of the wedding dress. It was a deep silk which shimmered subtly. It caught the light in a way that made it seem alive. The bodice was adorned with delicate golden embroidery, intricate patterns of flowers and vines that traced along the neckline and sleeves.
