The Interview

Before Zheng could even asked who the owner of the voice is and where exactly is the person speaking, is this heaven or hell? And what interview are you talking about? He start to feel his soul being raddled and then…

Zheng soul was pulled into a mysterious place where he can feel his feet touching something like concrete. However, due to the sudden teleportation of his soul, Zheng vision was in a complete disorder as everything he look at is blurry and shaking uncontrollably.

Once he manage to stable himself, what Zheng see was a hallway where a single desk is settled in the middle with two roll of doors on each side that is stretch out infinitely. Behind the desk is a woman and she can be describe as a breath taking beauty but unfortunately there aren't much to see since her clothing style is that of a detective so her entire body is sealed up.

No longer bother with the woman, Zheng continuing to observe his surroundings without a care in the world because to him, he is already dead so what else can happen. Oblivious to the fact that the woman behind the desk is looking at him while patiently waiting.

Noticing that Zheng has finish satisfying his curiosity after 15 minutes of waiting, the woman behind the desk give him a smile as she beckon him with her finger to come over and take a seat.

Seeing that the beautiful woman behind the desk wanted him to come over, Zheng didn't hesitate as he walk over leisurely. After reaching the desk, Zheng pull out the chair and begin sitting down. The woman can tell that Zheng have a lot of questions as she said "you can ask any questions and I will try my best to answer them but you only have 5 minutes."

Wasting no time at all, Zheng asked "are you the voice that I heard after my death and was my soul brought into the void by you?"

"Yes and no, after a life is loss. The soul will automatically be brought into the void temporally before a reaper come to lead them on the first step of judgement all the way to the point where they will be send to either heaven, hell, or reincarnation. In your case, your soul also got brought into the void automatically but with special privileges" replied the woman as she casually answer him.

Putting his hand together in front of his chest Zheng asked "what kind of privileges?"

"Hehehe, you got to talk with a beautiful lady like me of course." The woman personality suddenly change 360 degrees from a blank face to a cute one and she is even trying to do those Korean idol poses with her finger being a peace sign as for her head is turn to the side….

Couldn't control himself, Zheng choked on his own saliva at the turn of events. He have thought that the privileges was something great but this…

Observing Zheng face as it keep changing, the woman chuckles and said "just kidding geez, calm down and continue asking what you need. All will be clear to you soon enough."

Taking a deep breath, Zheng who got demoralized by the woman continue to soldier forward as he asked "What exactly is this place and who are you?"

"This place is a special judgement area between hell and heaven where souls that have high merits when they are still alive get judge before being reincarnated and it is only through here that a soul is allowed to reincarnate. My name is Chunhua and I alone manage this place." Replied Chunhua as she continue to smile.

Looking at that smile give Zheng a bad premonition that something bad will happen while continuing with his question "What do you mean when you said that I was granted an interview?"

"It means that you will be given a task which is rare for souls to obtain, but before we let you undertake that task. An interview is needed to double check your qualification, once you pass the interview and get the tasked which will varies based on your qualification and merit from your past life. Then you will be sent to that world with a predetermine condition which can be bad or good rather than getting a judgement which is just based on your merit alone and allow you to reincarnate with a better starting condition than your previous life no matter what." Said Chunhua

"Then how is that a privilege? What if I got sent to the wrong place and at the wrong time, then just die again due to the predetermine condition set on the task." Said Zheng as he does not want to experience death again so soon.

"All will be answered after you accept the task, of course I won't send you to your death silly." Replied Chunhua as she study Zheng facial expression.

Rubbing his chin with one hand Zheng could somewhat put all the pieces together about this hallway, the doors, and what Chunhua just said. As he was about to ask further, a beeping sound was heard next to the left side of where Chunhua sits. Looking towards that direction, Zheng was astonish that Chunhua who judge souls need to put an alarm clock to time him?

"Times up, and I can see that look of yours. This is just one of my hobby." Said Chunhua as she start to pick up a set of documents from a file cabinet with Zheng name written on the top right corner.

After opening the documents and scanning through the information one more time, Chunhua said "hmm not bad at all, I knew it was right to pick you but I still need to follow procedures. So let start with the interview."

Time fly by as the two converse with each other. During their interaction Chunhua ask Zheng a series of question as well to test if he is honest and does he have integrity, how does he inspire others, is he a Committed and Passionate person, is he a good communicator, how is his decision making capabilities, accountability, delegation and empowerment, and creativity along with Innovation.

Satisfied with the results, Chunhua put down the documents and said "you pass!"

'It's finally over, I thought this interview will never end' thought Zheng as he put on a smile for show.

"So what is my task exactly?" ask Zheng

Pulling out another folder Chunhua said "you will be sent to a planet called Panthura which have 6 continent along with countless islands scattered around within that planet and the continent that you will be sent to is called Asura. Your first privilege in that continent will be the spawn point which is set for you outside of a remote village bordering between two states, no one knows but that village is not within the jurisdiction of the two states and what you do with it along with the method you use to obtain it is entirely up to you. The world is in great turmoil and the innocents die in the thousands each day as war continue to destroy the land. Your task is to join this world and unified the land to bring an end of war and the beginning of peace. Since your case is consider as an S class task, you will get an assistant as a second privilege but regarding on how to operate that assistant is for you to find out. One last note, you will be allowed to keep all your memories, experience etc. Also, your newly constructed body will be a lot younger at the age of 15 and also don't worry about not fitting in your clothe because you will be fully clothe in new ones."

"Interesting, leading armies and going to battle is just my thing. But a 15 year old body....whatever I will deal with it later." Said Zheng excitedly

"Go towards the door to your right, I have set its destination to where your spawn point is. Once you step in then you will be teleported over. Good luck Zheng." Said Chunhua as she give him a thumb up.

Giving Chunhua a quick nod Zheng start to move towards the door and as he step inside, a strong flash cover his vision and before he knows it. His surroundings changed and everywhere he look are tall trees with sounds of birds singing along with different animal noises echoing throughout the forest.
