A crisp sound of high heels striking the floor interrupted the bickering between Chen Xu and Chen Ziqi.


Chen Xu turned his head and saw a woman in a pale blue pleated skirt walk in, a black bag slung over her shoulder. She appeared to be in her twenties, with her hair up in a bun. The combination might seem jarring on someone else, but on her, it looked appropriate.


Yet, the woman seemed out of place as she entered the shop.


After coming in, her gaze swept over the shop's décor and paused on Chen Ziqi's face for a second before settling on Chen Xu and she said, "Hello."


Chen Xu had some impression of this woman; she must be Luo Xiyun's friend. He had seen the two of them going to the company together while he was still working. Now, seeing her greet him made him wonder how she knew him.


He asked, "Hello, may I ask if you're here to eat noodles?"
