Liu Kun leaned back in his chair, eyes closed, hands pressed against his forehead, gently massaging it. He appeared somewhat weary.


The phone at the edge of the desk started vibrating. He reached out, took the phone, saw the name on the screen, felt a bit surprised, and sat up straight to answer the call.


"Chen Xu, what made you think to call me?"


On the other end, Chen Xu's voice came through. "Mr. Liu, I'm sorry for calling at this time. I hope I'm not disturbing you."


"What's this about disturbing? Are you not considering me a friend?" Liu Kun laughed heartily. "I couldn't find time to come to the opening of your new shop last time. If you open another new store, I'll be there for sure."


"You were already so busy, and yet you made a point to send a flower basket. I'm very grateful."
