Chen Xu opened his eyes and, in the dim light, indeed saw a wall in front of him. He silently returned to his bed, disturbing no one, closed his eyes, and prepared to sleep.


This was a hospital ward, not a suitable place for practice. If someone were to suddenly wake up and see him wandering around in the ward, they might think he had mental issues.


Before falling asleep, he habitually opened the interface of the dream device to check for any changes. Ever since the device had been connected to the network, causing a system update, he had made it a routine to check every day.


It had been twelve days since the last dream ended, and in two more days, he could enter again and begin the second phase of the dream.


However, he didn't hold out much hope. After all, the dream device was currently disconnected from the network. That he had been able to participate in the first phase was already fortunate enough. What would happen in the second phase was still uncertain.
