When the news spread around of how Shuichi was made Captain directly after dismissing the previous captain, All Nobles who don't know him only thought that he was just lucky and was supported by Magic Emperor.

Some commoners even speculated he is an illegitimate son of the Magic emperor who was born to a foreigner woman. The blue-haired girl stepped forward and stared at everyone and spoke in her usual haughty tone, "My name is Noelle Silva".

As Xerx saw that he was put up with an arrogant princess and a non-magic peasant, He was filled with hate towards Shuichi but still accepted it as he can't defeat him.
