The Trio

The trio run fast as they could and immediately escape the mobs for the time being. Once they are out of the aggro range, they all breathe a sigh of relief. Shaira and Kenneth then immediately scolded Marco for his recklessness.

"Hey! I said I'm sorry already"

"Of all the things you could do-"

Marco who was quite sharp-eyed cut off Shaira's nagging with a shush.

"Don't you dare shush-"

"Ssshhh!"

Marco pointedly stared at the tree tops and managed to catch sight of Angelo at the tree.

"Oh!"

Marco looked at the slingshot in Angelo's hand and remembers that the thing that was hitting the golem is a pebble.

"Ah! Are you the one who help us? Thanks for your help!"

Shaira and Kenneth gazed at him and upon seeing his level, they also offered their sincere thanks.

After all a low level newbie help them at their predicament and the newbie could risk his life just by helping them.

Angelo stayed at the branch and just raised his eyebrow at them.

"It's nothing...after all, having a f*cking train of mobs coming at me is not my type of fun"

Angelo said sarcastically, eyeing them like they're idiots.

"Ah! Sorry about that..."

"This idiot provoke the <> while we're not looking and before we know it we were already surrounded" Shaira told Angelo as she noogied a sorry-looking Marco.

"Hey! I said sorry already!" Marco whined while the other two poke-fun of him.

"By the way, my name is Shaira, I'm a warrior-class. This is Ken, he's a mage and this one here is Marco, an assassin."

Angelo nodded and pointedly stare at the HUD above their heads.

"Oh yeah, forgot about that. Seems kinda pointless now" Shaira sheepishly said as she heft her sword back to its scabbard.

"So you're Rey, right? Nice to meet ya! Thanks again. Hey, wanna join our party?" Marco asked boisterously as he peered at Angelo's HUD.

"Marco piped down will you? And don't badger him" Kenneth stared down at Marco and turned to Angelo apologetically. "Sorry about him. But you are indeed welcome to join us."

"So what's your class? Are you a ranger?" asked Marco, his face magnifying under Angelo's eyes.

"Hey! Down boy!" Shaira commanded helplessly as she pull Marco away from him.

Backing away at Marco, Angelo replied, "No...I'm not a ranger and no, I'm not under a class-system."

"Eh? I thought all players are on a class-system?"

Surprised, Marco turned towards his other party members to asked them.

"Marco, have you forgot? It depends on what kind of system your contractor gave you." Answered an exasperated Shaira. "Our contractor gave us a system that follows a class-system, that's why we can access skills based on our initial class", she explained.

"Well anyway, so how about it Rey? Ahm, do you want to join us?"

But before Angelo can answer, Muning shows up while holding his phone.

"Master, I finished my task nya~ I also saw a boss trash golem nearby nya~"

Muning who was assigned to mapped out the place again earlier just got back. Angelo sigh, while the trio stared at the floating cat besides him.

The aid companion stared at the new faces around his master.

"Nya? Who are they Master?"

Angelo take his phone back while scrolling through the pictures that Muning has taken.

"Nevermind that, have you recovered your MP?"

"Oh...yes my MP is now full nyaa~"

Angelo turned towards them and without further ado, accepted the party invitation.

"Wha- You have an aid companion!" exclaimed Marco.

"Hmm..."

"Woah, an aid companion is expensive. How did you get one?" asked Shaira curiously.

"Oh? You want someone like me nyaa?" Muning asked as he twirl and gazed at them with stars and hearts in the background.

The trio thought as they avert their gaze at the adorable aid companion.

"Oh? Muning? I got him as a gift."

Which is true as Muning was his reward as the last official gamer.

"Wow...lucky", Marco sigh enviously.

"Anyway, since I joined you guys. Why don't we take on the boss golem again?"

"Eh? But we already took a beating earlier...", Marco sullenly replied, remembering how the boss golem attack hit him.

"But that was before, now we have Muning here. By the way, do any of you guys have an aggro or control skills?" Angelo asked, recalling to ask them about their skills.

The trio looked at each other, the other two hesitating. Kenneth cough pointedly before speaking.

"I have , casting time is 3 seconds and it last for 5 seconds."

"I don't have any taunt skills but I have , it's pretty loud and it has an AOE attack range of 1 meter radius that can stun enemies around me."

"I have , casting time is about 5 seconds and it last for 10 seconds." Marco replied before hopping beside Angelo.

"What's your plan Rey?"

"Muning can cast that has a range around 5 meters and lasts for 1 minute. It has no casting time and it's pretty instant"

Angelo turn towards them and smirk, his charm points of 70 at full blast at the trio.

"Here's the plan..."

Blazing white fire erupted around a cloaked person. Around him, many spores faded as the fire kills them all, leaving behind many drop items.

As the fire dies down, another figure came towards the cloaked figure. A girl with long black hair tied in twin tails hop beside the cloaked figure and coquettishly grab the hem of said cloak.

"You're so awesome brother. Thank you for accompanying me", the girl said sweetly, her eyelashes batting as she gazed at the cloaked figure.

"Hmm..."

The cloaked figure ignored the girl and turned to magically pick up all the drop items.

The girl pouted at his reaction.

"Brother Cain, wait for me!"

cried the girl as she hurried towards Cain.
