Not just a dream

Asleep, instead of the usual nightmares, I'm in what looks a little bit like a living room of a house but it's off. Couches, comfy chairs, night stands, a coffee table in the middle, no TV, no decorations, and all of the people look out of place. I start to put things together. The two men in comfy chairs across from each other one is bigger older than the other so Pride and Envy. Two women of a couch one has exaggerated proportions and the other is almost androgynous with spiked red hair, Lust and Wrath. Comfy chair playing with a gold coin, Greed. Love seat to himself bag of popcorn, Gluttony. I walk up and notice someone laying on a couch, Sloth.

Envy looks over at me as I walk up and says have a seat and a chair shows up next to him. I notice they are each in a separate a chair with one showing up to the right of each of them. So they expect me to choose one of them to sit next to, I start to panic a little I know that these aren't normal people and if I pick one it means something. They all smile at my momentary panic. Instead I walk up to the coffee table in the middle and try something really hoping it works. It does it turns into a comfy office chair with a swivel. I sit cross legged and the chair is slightly smaller than there's so I'm just under sitting even with them.

Envy " So couldn't pick one of to sit next to huh?"

Pride "Center of attention and you all think I'm bad."

They all laugh, I wonder if I made a bad choice but smile.

Sloth "Too much effort."

Gluttony offers me some popcorn, I shake my head no, he shrugs.

"So I'm dreaming right but you all are here. Is this what you look like." I'm spinning slowly looking at them. They smile then their appearance changes to look like me expect slightly off versions.

Eyes red with that same broken bottle in hand, Wrath

Hand down the front of my pants glassy eyes, Lust

"Okay"

Drooling eating lobster, Gluttony

"Point made"

Pride "We appear how we want."

Lust "Or how you want" back to herself

Then they all turn back to the appearance they had.

"So I have a system tell me it's more than just you all in my head"

Pride "Are we not enough?" Looking very serious.

"..." I wonder how to smooth it over

They all laugh

Wrath "You get points for every sin commited"

Envy "Use those points to get powers or abilities"

Greed "We can help you at times like with the ATM, speaking of which cash" He holds his hand out

I reach into my pockets. Remember I'm in a dream and focus to gather all my money to my hands. Greed takes it, quickly fans through it.

Greed "Five Hundred thirty-seven dollars. Two hundred spent on the room. So we got one hundred in cash from his person six hundred from his cards. Minus ten percent and I will mark my count your money mission as complete. Four hundred and sixty-seven dollars."

I grab the money back and and he looks at me expectantly. I realize he wants to count it to confirm. I realize that four hundred is missing. As I look up at him he hands me a bank card. I grab it and $500 appears in the air in front of me.

Greed "Completeing actions I give you and committing acts of greed will earn you money starting out. You will soon realize that cash isn't the only currency." Greed smiles and starts playing with a gold coin again

Pride "Being proud will give you more to be proud about. Being proud about your appearance, ability to overcome an enemy, or even proud enough to sit in the middle of entities that could kill you with a thought."

I realize my heart stopped for a second but I'm still alive and proud to just be alive. Pride sits back looking very smug.

Gluttony "Excess in everything. More or better. Eat till your stomach hurts. Fuck till you can't walk. Fight till your hands are bloody. Read till your head hurts. Fill up and your capacity will increase."

Lust "Get your groove on and well talk about it then. We are already well acquainted though right." An image pops in front of me checking out girls, of me watching porn. I make it stop with a thought and Lust is looking at me. I get uncomfortable.

Lust "Checking out a girls nice ass is easy and being lustful seems to be second nature to you I'm sure we'll get along well."

Wrath "Rage, Anger, Violence, and Revenge. When you go after your moms boyfriend let me help. Even as big as going after this unfair world. Every fight will make you a better fighter."

Envy "Take what you want. Stealing money or a car. Even taking someone's power."

Sloth "Do what you want. Don't do what you don't want to. In fact here's an extra point for ignoring Greed's mission and going to sleep. Make it two for getting away with."

Greed looks angry, Sloth smirks.

Wrath "Are you two gonna fight." I can feel heat coming from her, it makes me want to fight.

Lust "Are you two gonna fuck." Situation diffused everyone laughs even Wrath though she looks defeated clearly wanted to see a fight.

I sit in the chair spinning slowly wondering what's next. The thing with my heart, the overwhelming rage. I need to remember that these are not people it's scary and refreshing at the same time.

Then I remember the missions.

"So I have points I can spend."

"How?"

Pride "Really, maybe you were right kinda daft." he looks at Gluttony, "Sin System" "Just think it or even will it to show up."

When Pride said Sin System a screen popped up in front of me then after a screen popped up in front of each of them.

I was amazed at all the points I had and for little things

Proud to be alive 5 points Counting money 1 point Checking out Lust 3 points Wanting a suit 3 points ...

Lust "Checking me out, trying to look up my skirt, Imaging us together. All you had to do was ask. Imagining me and Wrath together oh you bad boy and you got ten points for that."

Wrath looks angry at me and Lust. I can see fire inside of her eyes.

Wrath "Really boy, any place, any time, I'll show you how much rage I have"

1 point for imagining fighting Wrath

1 point for imagining fucking Wrath

Lust "Really. You and me are going to get along." She smirks and switches the others screen to hers briefly.

They all laugh even Wrath.

Envy "Point shop" "I recommend Others Status"

Pride "I recommend Self Status"

Lust "I recommend Lower Inhibitions"

Wrath "I recommend Training Area"

Gluttony "I recommend Iron Gut"

Greed "I recommend Comupters Knowledge"

Sloth " Lower Inhibitions, Self Status and Others Status are all good for starting out. I recomend Hide Status"

Their recommendations are at the top of the list. Then I notice the rest. Powers, Abilities, each of the sins has there own section. It's a mess beyond that just seemingly unending lists of powers and abilities all jumbled together.

"Keep the recommended at the top, then sort by cost."

Lust "Still with the talking to yourself thing, it's your dream and your hotel room" she shrugs

Now what to pick, I should save some points too.
