Chapter 3

It was so vivid. yet, I can barely remember anything. All that I could remember was the haunting sounds of sorrow and the darkness that extended below me, almost infinitely.

I woke up screaming. It had driven me mad. But then I realized it was just a nightmare. As I stepped out of the room, I noticed the locked room's light flickering on and off, Which was odd since it was locked from the inside, meaning that whatever is making it flicker would have had to have been there since before I even arrived here. I went up to the door and put my ear to it. I heard weeping. From under the door I saw a black dress, flowing with the air. So, I grabbed a mirror and stuck it under the door. I saw a woman with a black dress, a black veil and the room looked charred, almost as if there was a fire in this room. Then the lights turned off and on again. The woman had disappeared and the room looked normal, as if nothing happened. Perplexed, I took a moment to think about it. This experience reminded of one of the files I read, the one about the woman in a black veil. But was it really possible? It couldn't be. Impossible. My father investigated the occult but I always assumed it was child's play.  A hobby to keep him busy. I don't believe it. It was probably my imagination. I continued with my day and all was fine. Though, I wonder how my night will go.I haven't really been sleeping that much anyway
