Celine woke up to a certain cat licking her face. Celine scratched Lune behind the ears before getting out of bed. She quickly took a shower before using a spell to dry her hair and put it up in a ponytail. Changing into her robes, she slowly went down to the common room. Seeing that it was still only five, Celine decided to look around the Ravenclaw common room. Celine went to one of the windows and looked out before her lips curled up slightly, enough for a small smile. It was breathtaking. From Ravenclaw tower, you had a view of the lake, Forbidden Forest, Quidditch pitch, Herbology gardens, and some mountain ranges.
Drawing her eyes away from the window, Celine spotted a marble statue. Taking a closer look, she realized that it was Rowena Ravenclaw, a founder of Hogwarts. On the statue, the head had a tiara of sorts. The Lost Diadem of Ravenclaw. Celine gazed at it, before taking a random book off the shelf and started flipping through it, sitting down on one of the couches. At five minutes to six, Celine got up and put the book away.
She made her way down the tower before trying to remember what way she came the night before. Celine slowly went to the Great Hall trying not to get lost. Luckily for her, she remembered correctly. It also helped that she and Alex had a photographic memory. When Celine entered the Great Hall, she noticed that there weren't a lot of people there. Celine sat down at the Ravenclaw table and started eating some toast, eggs, and bacon. Finishing in 20 minutes, she looked at her watch. 6:50. Deciding to explore Hogwarts a bit before class, as to not get lost, Celine left the Great Hall and started to wander the corridors of the castle.
After 30 minutes of exploring, Celine headed back to the Great Hall to get her schedule. Upon arriving she sat down at her table with people in the same year as her. As soon as she sat down there was a bunch of gasps as ghosts burst through a wall gliding to other places in the room. She saw the Bloody Baron, Nearly Headless Nick, and the Fat Friar at their house tables but it took a while before Celine could spot the Ravenclaw ghost. She was hovering near a corner watching all the students eat. The Gray Lady.

Celine's first class was a double period, Charms with the Hufflepuffs. When she arrived at the Charms classroom there were only three students. Two Ravenclaw girls were huddled near each other trying to memorize a book and there was just a Hufflepuff boy sitting far away from them with a bored look on his face. Celine sat down in a chair close to the front and pulled out a sketchbook. She flipped to the last page with writing in it and started sketching Hogwarts. Suddenly a voice sounded out next to her, "Can I sit here?"
Celine looked up and saw the Hufflepuff boy. Giving him a small nod, she resumed her sketch of the castle. "Diggory, Cedric Diggory," the boy said sitting down next to Celine. She looked at him and tilted her head in confusion. "Uh, my name. It's Cedric." He said holding out a hand.
"Celine Terranova," Celine looked at his hand and went back to her sketch.
"Soooo... you excited to learn?" Cedric gave her a small smile.
Celine closed her sketchbook with a snap, "Why are you talking to me?" She looked at him with squinted eyes as if observing what he was up to.
Cedric gave her a big smile, happy that she acknowledged her presence. "'cause your eyes," He said rubbing the back of his neck. Celine raised an eyebrow at him, daring him to continue. Cedric was no longer looking at her. His eyes were no her but seemed to be far away. "I've seen those eyes before... You may try to hide it, but you're lonely. You try to act tough but underneath your hard exterior, you're sad... or angry... Point is, you need someone to lean on, someone to be there for you. But you don't like being pitied, makes you feel weak, inferior. So you need a friend, lucky for you, I want to help you." Celine looked at Cedic with a surprised look and her mouth slightly open.
"Why?" was all she managed to muster.
"Because bottling all your emotions isn't good for you. You need a release. If you don't, you might snap. I've seen it before and I'm not ready to see it again. So," he breathed out, "Now that I'm here, I'll be your friend."
Celine looked at him with a haughty expression and turned away with a huff of annoyance. "Don't think you'll get rid of me that easily. You may push others away and they might stay that way, but I'm not going anywhere." Cedric finished just as the bell rang and the rest of the students poured in.
-----------------------------------
True to his word and worked together on the levitation with him pestering Celine all class long with questions such as, "Do you like Hogwarts so far?", "What do think of potions?", or simply "What's your favorite color?". Celine simply nodded or shook her head with an annoyed face.
As the bell rung marking the end of charms, Celine stood and started packing up to get to transfiguration class with the Gryffindors. She turned and started walking towards the door before abruptly pausing. "Thank you, Cedric," Celine quietly whispered before gliding out the door. Cedric looked dazed transfixed, for a moment thought he imagined it, it was so quiet. He gave a sad smile after her before heading to potions.
