The spearhead-like Iron Blood Spaceship was massive, sealed entirely by a thick layer of Crimson Crystals. Qin Muye eyed it cautiously. Who knew what a lone wolf warrior might have hidden inside? He wasn't about to take any chances.
This time, he brought along Tian Qi and the Evangelical Spirit Monster as his bodyguards — essential companions for a mission like this. Once the Crimson Crystal melted away, Qin Muye accessed the ship's entrance using the miniature computer left behind by the warrior.
"To be honest, I really don't understand how this ship doesn't have an artificial intelligence system. With such advanced technology, how could it lack one? Or is AI too expensive, and this lone wolf couldn't afford it?"
Following the data from the computer, Qin Muye quickly navigated his way to the main control room. He began operating the console but found no useful records — just a collection of cosmic coordinates.
"The Iron Blood Warrior's planet, other alien civilizations… wait, is this thing a Pioneer ship?"
As he sifted through documents, Qin Muye stumbled upon something familiar. It was a trophy — a preserved alien resembling an upright aquatic insect. It seemed the Pioneers might not recognize them, but they were known for their exceptional wormhole technology. These aliens polluted planets with monstrous creatures, clearing the way for colonization. People called them Bloom Monsters.
"This Iron Blood Warrior is pretty fierce. Besides the Iron Blood Civilization and Engineer Civilization, now we have to add a Pioneer Civilization to the mix. The Horror Universe really is terrifying… there might even be green, big-headed aliens on Mars," Qin Muye muttered.
The Horror Universe was indeed a nightmare. Hell's power mixed with alien civilizations made it a wonder humanity hadn't been wiped out yet. He suspected Hell's existence, as a separate plane, deterred other civilizations from making a move. Perhaps they feared provoking Leviathan, the King of Hell, or Captain Spencer, the spike-headed preacher of the original Hell forces — beings who defied even technology.
Qin Muye estimated this civilization ranked at least level six or higher. He even theorized that alien civilizations might have helped seal Hell's entrances. Humanity alone couldn't have accomplished such a feat.
"Thank goodness I'm not stuck in the Horror Universe," Qin Muye sighed. "I wouldn't be able to sleep peacefully."
For now, ordinary people led stable lives — so long as they didn't seek trouble. Qin Muye, however, was drawn to the collection room, where the warrior stored his prey. There were Pioneer specimens, frozen alien eggs, a small octopus beast, and other strange creatures.
He was dazzled by the sight. Some specimens were intact, though others were skinned and bloody. One skeleton even resembled an Engineer.
"Is this Iron Blood Warrior really that fierce?" he murmured. He reconstructed the creature's appearance from muscle patterns. It looked eerily like the creator Engineers from an alien civilization.
It was a shame they were dead, but they still held value. Engineers drinking Black Water could create life on a barren planet. Qin Muye lacked Black Water, but with Engineer specimens and alien eggs, he wondered if he could reverse-engineer it.
Before, he couldn't have imagined such a feat. But after three Talent Ascensions, he felt confident.
He moved to the equipment room — a close second to the luxurious collection room. The Lone Wolf Warrior's gear was impressive. Qin Muye believed that if he mastered this technology, he could outpace most Lords on the Magic Continent. The gear wasn't quite Divine Artifact-level, but it was still Advanced Treasure-grade.
If he wanted a true Divine Artifact, Qin Muye figured he'd need to reach the Iron Blood Civilization's Mother Star.
"All finished products," Qin Muye mused. "Without the knowledge, it'll take me a lot of time to replicate them." He could reverse-engineer the tech, but time was essential.
"One month. Let's see if I can figure out this ship's technology. If not…"
He'd complete his advanced mission first, then return.
Time was his greatest asset now. The Magic Continent's power struggles were quiet, leaving Qin Muye untouched. If he couldn't crack the tech now, he'd try again after further Talent Ascensions.
Every Ascension transformed him. If it boosted his battle power, he might've soared to heaven by now. His magic wasn't vast, but his raw magic power was staggering. He pursued strength, overwhelming opposition with brute force.
The Red Prison Element enhanced his Magic Divine Arrow, granting Crimson Understanding, Crimson Mastery, Hell Understanding, and Hell Mastery. Combined with his ranks as Lord of Hell and Crimson Ancestor, his magic now rivaled Level 5 spells.
Qin Muye abandoned finesse. With the Magic Source — a Divine Artifact — and soon the Mage's Ring, he'd become an immovable turret.
Assassins couldn't touch him either. His magic shield was so strong, even the True Dragon Emperor, wielding Demonic Destruction, couldn't break it.
Radiation from his shield would inflict Crimson Disease and the Hell Curse on any fool who tried.
Qin Muye was thorough when it came to self-preservation. Soon, he'd wear the Dragon King's Divine Power, hold the Angel Alliance in one hand, Titan's Arrow in the other, and don Cursed Armor.
Once he assembled enough Divine Artifacts, his safety was guaranteed.
Why go out himself when Spirit Monsters could handle everything?
"When I think about the wonderful life ahead, I can't help but daydream," Qin Muye sighed. He worked 23 hours and 45 minutes a day, leaving only 15 minutes for rest.
He found more strange devices around the ship, categorized them, and threw himself into research.
If he could understand it, he could learn it. That was his talent. If he focused on combat, his growth would skyrocket.
But why bother? Skills didn't matter when you could obliterate enemies with an interstellar cannon — or blow up the whole planet for good measure.
Blood Rebirth? Useless when even the blood itself was vaporized.
As long as firepower was intense enough, no one could escape a world-ending explosion.
Why provoke stronger beings? If Qin Muye couldn't win, he'd retreat. When he was strong enough, he'd come back for revenge.
He suspected other civilizations had long discovered humanity — but Hell's existence kept them at bay.
He still had this confidence.
This time, he came to study. And with his loyal Spirit Monsters guarding him, Qin Muye felt prepared for whatever horrors lay ahead.
