Gods And Origins

Please read this after reading the volume 1 of the story.

In the olden days of Earth, conquest of the world was men's common yet greatest ambition.

A test of mettle between great and tyrant men alike, but backlash soon came over as their lands expanded, so is their population, and with many people with different origins collided, so is the stability of their dominion. Rebellions and treasons caused many of the greatest empire to fall and be forgotten, uneducated peasants pitched their forks and torches to their 'unsuitable' lords unbeknownst to their goal.

But these great men soon found the easiest trick to fool the poor, that was superstitions, if a war fails, that means their faith was weak, if the people were stricken with poverty they pray to their Gods, if all else fail and they hit rock bottom they blame these entities, the uncanny people seeing such a powerful tool, heightened the exercise of these superstitions in subtlety thus gaining prominence to the world and even legitimizing it, calling these 'religion'.

The Gods was once the trending worshipped entities in their religion subjected to the exercise of polytheism.

Now religion is, to the eyes of the public, is a beacon of hope in a world where chaos was imminent, but for the ambitious men, these were a great excuse for gaining glory and land, dubbing their fight as a 'Holy war'. The invention of religion was truly one of the greatest illogical thing man has offered, not only are ignorant peasants keeping their mouth shuts, they even became more productive and supportive to their lords.

Soon Gods then was forced to exist upon the millions of prayer and unwavering belief people held for them. But the Gods due to their power and slothful nature, didn't bother answering the prayers, causing the passage of time for people to stop relying on religion.

And as their worshippers dimmed down, so is their power, and once truly forgotten the Gods would cease to exist. Seeing their power weakening they tried to influence Earth by sending down heroes that created history, but it caused the people into worshipping other Gods, which was already in the present time of Pleron.

With their power weakened the Greek Gods were pushed away by the new Gods, causing the ancient Greek Gods of Earth to band together and create a new world in the corners of the universe.

They created a world they didn't bother naming, then created inhabitants that would worship them for all eternity, these inhabitants were now called in the present time of the continent, the ancients.
