Chapter 004 | The blind man

Alfred and I are currently driving to New York because I found a dojo where I want to register

"Master Bruce, are you really sure you want to register in this dojo?" Alfred asked me worriedly

"Yes, I am very sure, Alfred" I answer Alfred immediately

"Don't worry, Alfred, you'll always be by my side," I said with a calm voice so that Alfred's fear can disappears a bit

"Master Bruce," said Alfred worriedly but I interrupted him before he could continue to speak

"trust me Alfred, I will not die before you" I said with a calm voice

"I will remind you of your words, Master Bruce," said Alfred

This dojo must have a long history, because when we arrived and I got out of the car I saw an old sign that said something in Japanese that I didn't know what it meant

As I inspected the entrance of the dojo for a few more minutes, I made the decision with Alfred to enter the dojo

As soon as I walked into the dojo, I immediately felt anticipation when I saw two martial artists fighting each other

I watched their fight go on until someone tapped my shoulder and I turned around

"So what are you doing here and who are you?" A man, a blind man, asked me

This blind man must have supernatural powers because he could sneak into me and Alfred unnoticed

How do I know he's blind? Because his iris is milky, which is typical only for a few blind people

"My name is Bruce Wayne and next to me is my butler Alfred Pennyworth, and I want to register to this dojo," I said

I'm not talking around the bush because I knew for sure that this man is the head of the dojo

Why do I know it? because I get some kind of Master/Mentor vibe from him

"My name is Stick and I'm the head of the dojo. Boy, do you really want to go into this old dojo? Someone with the wealth of the Wayne could get an experienced teacher than me" said Stick

"I have a good feeling that this place will help me lot with getting stronger," I said

"A good feeling? Ok, I'll train you, come back tomorrow," said Stick

I went out and was already looking forward to tomorrow's lesson

"Did you know that the master of the dojo is blind, Master Bruce?" Alfred asked me

"Yes, I heard rumors that the dojo master was blind," I said

"If you knew why did you sign up?" Alfred asked

"I have a feeling that I will learn more in this dojo than in other dojo," I said

"I hope you made the right choice , Master Bruce," said Alfred
