Talking Head, An Apology

It has come time to address a criticism of this work, that given Kairos' manipulation, it seems odd that Iris is so frequently seen against Revenants she cannot manipulate, by host aura or otherwise. The reason for this is, like any other student, there are hundreds of fights left unrelayed to you, for there is no interest to reading a student kill an obviously outclassed host in seconds, such as:

Amelie opened up Delinquent's parasol inside of him, then turned to Iris as she waved it like a Southern belle. "Oh, this reminds me. I need to go grocery shopping."

Iris nodded and went with Amelie to the grocery store, although they received many stares, and she was unsure why, although Amelie was a rather pretty lady. "Oh, close your umbrella. You left it open."

Or: Iris stepped back inside. As the only current Urasaria student with a wind Revenant, she had been given a particularly bizarre unique duty. "Have you ever seen what zero-gravity can do to a human skull?"" Or: Iris pulled him up tight from the back as Eva kicked him in the stomach, air decaying out from his lungs, severely weakened. "Try it now?" She held her hand over his mouth, then slowly seeped oxygen into him that Eva strummed the prickliness of a cactus into, and they laughed as he was tortured. Or: One of the two hosts ahead of Iris & Olivia had attached remotely a parasite to Iris's tongue that caused her to always lie: a difficult disability, until she realized she could simply write with clouds or electricity, nonverbally communicate via facial expressions, intend to say the opposite of what she wished to say, cool obsidian messages in walls of lava, corrode away words in floors, use her nose to point to letters on her phone so as to not directly write, point to individual words in the environment, or various other counters. She had notified Olivia of this by reaching under Olivia's dress and sensually rubbing her stomach until Olivia shoved her off, yet understood that her physical body could not be trusted. "CLASH!" he shouted presently, and again the shark arose from the liquid of the gutter to their right. Iris decayed the liquid and the shark wilted. Her & Olivia were walking, wind-aided to catch up to their sluggish pair of foes ahead. "CLAS-" Iris decayed the liquid and it wilted. "CL-" Iris decayed the liquid and it wilted. "Your saliva; I can feel it! Cl-" Iris & Olivia retreated their host auras and Iris decayed the liquid and it wilted. After about 10 minutes of this, the enemy hosts sighed and kneeled in surrender, to which Iris was about to respond with a war crime, but was interrupted by Naomi showing up and executing both of them with stone bullets. Iris frowned and whispered quickly to Olivia: "Sorry for groping you, by the way." Olivia glanced over as if she was checking that the parasite was still not latched to Iris's tongue, then giggled. "It's fine." She looked to Naomi, who was letting her scan. "You sure you don't want it?" Naomi shook her head. "Nah, i-it's fine. Go ahead. I was just passing by. Sounded like a tough fight." Olivia crouched down to scan. Not once had Naomi scanned a Revenant fought by anyone but herself. [TALKING HEADS: Parasite that causes lying.] [CLASH: Shark that grows from liquid.] (TOXICITY) 335 (BLANK SLATE) 322 "I need to eat." Naomi sighed. "Before I get another goddamn call." "Yeah, me too." "Girl, you haven't even fought half as many Revenants I've been fighting, shut up." Olivia snickered. Naomi smiled to Iris. "Anyway. Wanna come with us?" "No." said Iris. Olivia seemed embarrassed on Iris's behalf, but Iris did not care; there were moments when Naomi & Victoria's faces merged in Iris's perspective, so far as hatred was concerned. She had already told Olivia she would not accept a position in Naomi's squadron if given it. But Naomi nodded and went off with Olivia, braying against opinions of what was or should not be.
