"MOM! ZEANNE JUST DRAGGED CRAIGE INTO HER ROOM!"

"Aishh… I really ought to just--" I muttered under my breath as I stomped my way into my room with Craige on my tail, wearing an amused expression on his face.

I closed the door as soon as he was inside, which earned a surprising protest from him. "I believe you should keep that door open."

My hand froze on the handle as I looked at him with confusion, not sure if I understood him correctly. "Eh? And let Arthur eavesdrop on our conversation?"

He thought about it for a while then nodded with a small smile. "Yes. Even so."

"Why?" The corner of my lips lifted in bewilderment when a reason crossed my mind as to why he would want to keep the door open.  A reason that I didn't want to believe in.

"Just because." He awkwardly massaged the back of his neck while avoiding my gaze which only heightened my suspicion.
