Chapter 32: Update Finished

A glass phone that is on the table in front a handsome man suddenly vibrated while he is attending a meeting.

He slowly picked it up and noticed that he received a message. He opened the message after seeing that it was his son that sent him the message.

"Your daughter is currently picking her final dress." His mind slowly read the message and he slowly scrolled down to see his beautiful daughter that is trying the dress she bought in this planet before she left.

The board of directors that is currenyly attending the meeting shifted their attention to their CEO. They were shocked at what they have seen.

"He's actually smiling." the board of directors that is currently attending shared the same thought.

The man that they are currently staring at is their Head CEO, Shi Kunqing, he and his wife Maria Ysabel which is the biological mother of Shi Fan, started a metallurgy company in a neighborhood with a high crime rate that almost no business thrives there. However since the business inception there is not a single crime that were afflicted on the business. It is rumored to said that Shi Kunqing once wiped out the entire neighborhood of thugs with his own martial arts because of the fact that their "customers were scared". He went to their territory alone to talk with then and is attacked by gang members after seeing how well off he looked and he was battered by people not less than in the hundreds.

The onlookers who had thought that he will die were shocked when he came out alive in their territory with only bruises. After that medical staff from the nearby hospital arrived immediately.

It is also rumored that the nearest hospital was fully occupied for three months due to the injuries they were afflicted. And they didn't allowed Shi Kunqing to pay for their bills and they became respectful to them from then on.

Since then not a single business stood in the path of the Shi Metallurgy Company until it turned into the Shi Group of Companies existing today.

However, their once good boss turned into a quiet and always angry type since the day his wife died due to sickness. He is always in a very bad mood and would always point out even the slightest mistakes. The only time they have seen him smile is when he is with his daughter when she is strolling around the company building.

Even though he is a very protective father he allowed suitors on his daughter that she can live with in the future hoping that one day he'll retire and take care of his future grandchildren.

Shi Kunqing that is still smiling on the message his son sent him stopped and looked at his dumbfounded board of directors. He stared silently at them until making a decision.

"Meeting adjourned." He flatly commanded. The people inside the room immediately dispersed outside of the meeting room leaving behind him and his secretary.

"Boss." his male secretary called out to him.

"Hm?" Shi Kungqing looked at his secretary beside him that is scanning documents.

"The update for Emperor Online will be finished in 12 hours. Do you have any plans?" His secretary momentarily stopped and looked at him with passionate eyes.

Shi Kunqing and his secretary played the game 2 years ago after knowing how beneficial the game is to their company. After exploring numerous lands and becoming self-made merchants they started a small enterprise inside the game.

"With the new update, there will be more trade channels opened up to the kingdom. Contact all of them to join our enterprise. We' try to monopolize the raw resources before those in the empires have the chance to do so." Shi Kunqing commanded.

"Yes boss." His secretary respectfully stood up and bowed at his CEO and he began marching towards the door.

When his secretary left the room he resumed watching the other photos of his daughter his son is currently sending him.
