Where My Story Began

Just another day at work. Cooking food, cleaning up. You know the usual day for a Chef. Same thing different day.

My life was in a cycle. A boring long cycle. Single, living on my own, working on my own and no family or friends that lived near by. Yes you could call me a loner to be brutally honest. But I wasn't sad or depressed about it I just wanted a change. More free time to see people I havnt in years due to my career.

But this day was different for one reason. A completely life changing reason. I was pulled through an oddly coloured gate? Portal whatever it was I wasn't anywhere familiar.

Falling in a beam of light. It happened so suddenly I couldn't comprehend what really happened let alone remember what I was doing before it did. It felt like hours falling with nothing but light around me and faint voices that I couldn't make sense of what they were saying. I felt myself drift out of consciousness.
