The suspect was Hei Zu!
That's it, I knew it was him. How, gut feel probably and I knew it was him because of info eyes. Examining the house and the man's micro expressions. I know it was him.
I just need to report this to the police and this case is done. Wait, I need more physical evidence though. He might tell then that it was probably a coincidence.
I found no solution about the more physical evidence thing so I just think for a second when I later realized that I can just question him.
I rode my bike early in the morning and went to Hei Zu's house to end this case once and for all.
I arrived and knocked at the door, "Hello? I am one of the Investigation team and I need to talk to you, Hei Zu."
A familiar man came out and let me in and as expected, the house was a bit cozy and a bit of a clean.
"I need you to answer my questions with only truth as answer, okay?" He nodded and offered me a sit.
"Okay kid, shoot," I started to question his connection between Lu Gei.
"He was my friend and that day, before he died, I visited his house. I didn't know that it was my last visit to his house." he looked sad and miserable at the same time.
"Next, can I inspect your house for a few minutes? I just need it." I asked.
"Yeah, I have nothing to hide so please your self." I stood up and looked at the different parts of the house.
I looked at every shelf and cabinets. I used the info eyes while looking at other places. I saw strange things in his house like a bottle of potassium cyanide, a paper similar to the paper used in the suicide paper. I am positive that he was the killer.
I contacted Officer Ye Fei and told him to come at Hei Zu's house with three men.
He arrived and knocked on the door. Hei Zu opened the door and let the police inside.
"Ximen Feng, where are you?" I showed up to their faces.
"Hey officer Ye Fei, I have solved the case of the suicide like murder. You want to hear my hunch?" They all ready to listen to me.
"Let us have a revision, Wei Lu Gei was killed by potassium cyanide poisoning. We all thought it was suicide because the victim has a suicide note but no. Why, I will give you an angle that can be agreed by both parties. Different handwriting of the suicide note and Lu Gei's original penmanship. I knew that this was a setup so I decided to continue the case. I knew now who the killer is."
"Who?" They all questioned me.
"Hei Zu! How did I say? Easy, look at these handwritings, they look the same right." I handed the survey and the original suicide note." They saw the difference and that concludes it.
"Yes, but it might be just a simple coincidence." I cut him off before he finished.
"I know you will say that so I already prepared a physical evidence." I took out the bottle of potassium cyanide and handed it to the police.
"Okay, I will admit my own crime. I did that because a man offered me money if I killed all the owners of the house." The police hand cuffed him and I wonder if a new crime group was formed.
My phone vibrated so I took put my phone and saw a notification on the app that says I completed the task.
[Congratulations! You completed the Easy leveled case and you obtain 300 exp and 30 gold. You also have an upgraded Info Eyes.]
Nice!
I returned to the apartment and saw Li Chen playing at my computer again but this time, when I entered the room, she welcomed me.
"Hello, Ximen Feng! I really appreciated what you did to me yesterday, thank you for the effort." I knew that she also knew that I didn't let her sleep on the computer.
I forgot to get something from officer Ye Fei.
"Hey, Li Chen! Take care of my room for a minute. I need to get something." It was afternoon so there was still daylight.
I didn't bother to use my bike, I still want to use my legs. I walked towards the police station when I went over a guy which later talked to me.
"Hey Ximen Feng! You are a Holmesian right. Beware of the Dragons' Edge Group. We are Moriartians and we will defeat you!" He froze. He now knew that not only him have the game but also others.
He lost appetite of traveling and went back to the apartment.
Now, a war has just began without me knowing any of it...
He was familiar about something about the concept of the dividing groups
Moriarty, Adler, Holmes and Watson. They were all the characters from the Sherlock Holmes books. Holmesian, Moriartians, Adlerians, and Watsonians!
