About Lena

Three hours after Tina left, she came back to check on Lena. This time she brought oatmeal for Lena to eat. After all, it's been some time since she last ate.

"So, Dr. S, can you please tell me about yourself?" Lena asked between mouthful of food.

Tina smiled and said, "sure, but you should just call me Tina. I don't like being called formally like that."

Tina smiled, and Lena smiled back, although she was secretly irritated by this smile.

"Tina, how long have you been a doctor?" Lena asked. She was actually curious, she wanted to know the answer.

"It's been about... five years. This was my dream job, so I took every opportunity I had to become one." Tina answered. She did not seem unwilling to answer or reveal more about herself. But she did not brag in the slightest, even though she seemed highly respected. Lena found this odd.

Now Tina wanted to ask something. "How about you? What do you do for a living?"

"I work for my father's company. My brother also works there. I... didn't really get a choice in the matter. Not that I don't like the company..." Lena trailed off a bit at the end. She was rambling. She was completely lost in trying to find out more about Tina that she forgot what she was saying.

"That sounds nice, actually. You know that a good job is guaranteed. You probably also don't have much to worry about." Tina said, trying to cheer up Lena.

"I guess so." Lena replied half heartedly. She realized she was tired already, and before she knew it she was already asleep. Tina looked at her and smiled. What a nice life she must have.
