Lena walked to her father's office and knocked on the door.
"Come in!" She heard from inside, so she excitedly opened the door all the way and walked in. A huge smile was on her face, and obvious excitement appeared on her face.
Her father furrowed his brow when he saw her like this. "Lena! What is it that brings you here while I'm working?"
"Father," Lena began. She looked at his face and saw that he was a little impatient, so she spoke straight to the point.
"I want to go back to work."
Her father looked at her skeptically. However, she understood his reaction. After all, she would have been confused by her decision s few days ago.
"Why?" Her father asked. He was really not in a good mood for talking, but he was curious about her answer.
"I have thought long and hard about this matter, and I realized that without work I've had far too much time to think. I think it's better to distract myself from all the things going on by working rather than by sitting around doing nothing."
"I see... is there any other reason? You are still recovering after being hospitalized, so I'm not inclined to do so..."
"Yes. There is." Lena said. She was determined to go back to work.
"I've decided... that I want to inherit your company when you retire."
