Chapter 571: Want To Drag Her Home

"Deputy Commander Cao is present. You may proceed." The soldier informed.

"Thank you," Bai Xifeng acknowledged respectfully.

She then tapped gently on the door and awaited a response, noting the faint voice that told her to enter the door. She opened the door and saw a full dressed soldier sat in front of a table. 

"Uncle Cao." Bai Xifeng greeted Cao Meng. 

Cao Meng looked up and down as he stared at Bai Xifeng. He seemed to be relieved as he saw Bai Xifeng was not injured or hurt. 

"It is good to see you fine." Cao Meng said.

"Hmm... I am on my way to return home. I am just dropping by to say hello." Bai Xifeng stated.

"You are going home?" Cao Meng was surprised. 

"Yeah. I already got the things that I want." Bai Xifeng grinned.

"Good. General Bai don't have to worry about you anymore." Cao Meng said. "Are you travelling alone?"
