Chapter 78

Soon the battle began and as time passed, more and more soldiers died. All the Guild leaders were also retreating, being unable to fight with the golden skeleton soldiers. The human beings always needed stamina to do something, even to fight wars but the undead didn't need something like stamina as they are already dead and are not bound by the laws of the world. So in a 1 on 1 battle between a skeleton soldier and a human of same Tier, the only way for the fight to end is to wait for the human soldier to exhaust his/her stamina and become tired. And as soon as they become tired , their reflexes become weak and slow, being unable to keep up with their enemy, the skeleton soldier. So they loose the fight. So the Guild leaders being unable to keep up, began to retreat.

Inside a room on the battlefield :

3 people were sitting with a very strange expressions on their face.

John- " Looks like we have no other way other than this. Isn't it?"

Marina- " Well I agree. Afterall it's better if we can defeat it and return back to our world, asap."

Sara- " I also agree on using that item. It's our only hope."

Then John sighed and took out a glowing cube with beautiful runes on it. He inspected the item for the last time before using it.
