That's her.

"How did you know?" Patrick looked at his cousin. He's looking at the toy in a weird way.

"I was in the lobby this morning waiting for that idiot brother of mine when I first saw her. She's resting on one of the benches when a man comes to her. It's just happened that I heard them talking." Calvin said casually. He reluctantly put back the toy that's on his hand.

"Oh.. So you already met Dr. Davis." Patrick put his tea cup down. "Yup.. That's her husband.. Ex-husband actually."

Calvin brows rise on what he heard. "She's too young to experience a failed marriage life." He walked back on the couch and sat across his cousin with a serious face. "Tell me is Kelvin did something stupid? Is he the reason why that Lady Doctor's marriage is ruined?"

"Huh?.. No!! Of course not!! No matter how silly your brother is, I'm sure he will never do anything that will hurt Kaye."

"And why's that?"

"C'mon man haven't you remember her? You don't recognize Kaye at all?"

"Is there's something I need to remember to her?"

"Remember the girl who treated you when you passed out in the middle of the game on one of your baseball match in our highschool days? Remember the girl who is the reason why your brother decides to become a doctor all of the sudden?

"Yes why?" Calvin look so puzzled.

"Calvin!!.. That's her!!" Patrick exclaimed. He will never forget that day, because it's the same day he first met his wife. "She's the same girl that day!!. And she's also the same girl why Kelvin shifts his course from engineering to medicine."

Calvin try to compare the face of the young girl that help him that day to the face of the lady doctor. That's probably the reason why at first that woman looks familiar to him. She changed a lot. He remembers that day when she first saw her she's also a member of baseball team who will compete for the championship. She's just a freshman back then while he is on his senior year.

It's summer back then and it's too hot. In the middle of the game, being not used to expose in too much heat he passed out due to heat exhaustion. Base of Kelvin narration. It's just happened that she and her friends passed by on his way and saw him collapse. Being first aid attendant at young age. She treated him until he gain his conscious.

The first thing he saw when he opened his eyes is a gentle face of a girl looking down on him while wiping his face with cold towel. His head is on her lap while his body is lying on the bench. Then he heard his parents worried voice. She helped him get up and made him drink the water his brother handed to him. After some checking on him she goes back on the field where her teammates are. A voice of his cousin bring him back in the present.

"And also.." Patrick voice become unusual serious. "She's also the same girl you save six years ago." Patrick looked at his cousin's eyes. "I know now how did you get your wound back there."

Calvin didn't answer. He too is surprised that she's the girl back there. He already forgot that incident. It's dark and raining so heavy that night. He's on his way home and take the dark alley on the north for short trip when his car suddenly stop. He got down to check when he saw a girl being cornered by four men at the dark corner. He was about to ignore it when one of them say his brother's name. When he looked at them again she saw the girl now is unconscious carrying by one of them in the shoulder.

They're wearing the same school uniform as his brother and same age too if he's not mistaken. They didn't see him in his location because it's too dark in his spot. He saw one of them made a call.

"Hello Kelvin.. Want to see your pretty little girlfriend? Oh don't worry our fun is just about to begin. You better be fast and get your ass here so you won't miss the fun." The guy laughed like a Demon. He cut the call and order the other to take the unconscious girl inside the truck.

Looks like the girl is in trouble because of his brother. Without further thinking, he stepped out from the dark spot where he was and open the huge truck where they took the girl. The girl inside is screaming for help. She's awake now and trying to fight for her life. The guy on her top who's forcing her rip her blouse exposing ample of her breast that's covered by white bra.

From the door He grabbed the man on top of her and pulled him harshly down to the ground. When the other men saw what he did, they all went out on the truck. He's not good at fighting like his brother but he's not bad also. One by one he managed to beat them enough until they can't fight back. He just didn't expect when the man who looks like the boss of the group pulled out a knife and attacked him from behind.

"Hey watch out!!!" The girl inside the truck shout that makes him look. And that he saw a man with his knife pointing on him. Before the knife managed get in his stomach he stopped it with his bare hand. His blood flows instantly. He winced in pain but managed to grab the man hand and twist it. Giving him a neck chop enough to stumble him to the ground unmoving.

He looks around. All four men are lying on the wet ground unconscious. The rain finally stop all of the sudden. He walks near to the girl who's still inside the truck still trembling in fear. He extends his hand.

"Are you OK?.. Don't worry you're safe now." He said trying to be friendly and gentle at the same time.

"You're… You're hurt." She said, still trembling voice looking at his hand that's bleeding. .

Righ.. He forgot about it. He close his hand and take it away from her. But before he can even move it away, she grabbed it and immediately took her handkerchief in her pocket. She carefully wrap it around in his hand.

"There.. It will help to stop the bleeding. You need to see the doctor to treat that before it got infections." She said gently. She sounds calm now. "Thank you for saving me. If it's not you…I.. I.." She hugged herself trying to control her emotions.

"it's OK now. Come.. Can you go down?" He asked try to distract her from thinking too much. He gently pulled her out of the car when she held his hand. He finally saw her face. From the help of dim light comes from the street light from afar, He saw her small and innocent yet so vulnerable face that time. She have an angelic face. Pretty, kind and gentle. With a small pointed nose and a pair of small but luscious lips.

He took out his coat and put it in her shoulder. He even close the buttons of it to cover her exposed body. When he heard a car coming on their way, he remembered that those thugs call his brother to come. He immediately excuse his self.

"Your friends are here now. Don't worry you're safe now. Time for me to go." Without waiting for her response, he runs away and vanished in the dark.
