Chapter 13

... I open my mouth to answer him but no sound comes out, my whole body is incoherent to the demands my brain is sending its like I'm a movie on mute. I can feel aces eyes trained on my facial expressions and my body language as I struggle to regain my voice and stop my relentless shaking. Then I feel his hands move up my body and rest on my cheeks my whole body freezes like I've been put on pause; the shaking, the scared expression on my face, the wordless movement of my mouth. Then he starts leaning closer to me until our lips lock and one of his hands starts to explore my body, the once filled with awkward silence room is now filled with heavy breathing and the rustling of bedsheets as the kiss becomes more heated. Suddenly a knock echoes through the dorm room as we hear muffled voices half whispering behind aces door. As ace gets up I quickly wrap the bed sheet around me as a flush of embarrassment overcomes me as I shyly stand behind ace in the doorway to peek at who interrupted us. To my surprise and horror it was Mike, standing there flushed red and drenched in sweat, confused as to why he's here I tug on aces shirt so he'll speak but to my surprise Mike beats him to it, "have you seen Alex I cant find him anywhere he's not on campus or at his dorm and I even checked the cafe but he's no where to be found, please tell me you Know where he is, I'm really worried". Once he'd blurted out the last part ace looks behind the door at me giving me a puzzled look and wrapping me up in the blanket before letting me walk past him to see Mike as I was extremely indecent with my shirt half off and my belt undone because ace got to handsy. Once in view Mike surges forward and hugs me while half dropping to the floor still exhausted from running around. Once he'd dragged me to the floor with him the blanket fell off and Mike quickly clicked onto why we took so long to answer the door, and his face went even redder. Despite this I ask him if he's checked his phone at all since leaving the dorm and to my guess he said "no", I then continue to say, " well if you had checked your texts I sent you one this morning saying me and ace won't be coming in today since we ran into some elevator problems and can't be arsed getting screamed at for being late so we'll meet you after class to hang out". Once I finished my mini speech Mike had a dumbfounded look on his face while ace was trying to get us to stand up as we were half sprawled across the corridor, as I stood up the blanket didn't asend with me so ace quickly hugged my front while trying to snap Mike out of his daze.
