Chapter 18

... Once I had got comfy on aces lap felix starts bounding into a vague description of his boyfriend and why they broke up for the apparent 18th time. Somehow my brain kept up with his rambling however it took me about 10 minutes to process the information. Once calmed down he asks ace if he can stay the night as he didn't what to stay and a motel then just before ace could answer him something that I forgot clicked in my mind, LAYLA I completely forgot my cousin was at my dorm room waiting for us because I have a mini panic attack. Oh my god how could I forget I jump up and rush over to the bathroom to find the oversized hoodie I had lended from ace earlier. Once decent I practically run to the door then ace picks me up in an attempt to stop me. In a worried voice he asks me why im rushing around then I blurt out in a concerned frenzy "layla I forgot she's next door she's in my dorm, I forgot she was here, I'm a bad cousin" when the last part comes out I practically burst into tears and ace goes to embrace me but then I get yanked backwards into felix's arms as he hugs me while ace stares daggers into felix. When he finally let's me go ace tells me that he told her to use the student code to get her own dorm room, I run to the bed where my phone is sitting and I ring her to find out her dorm number, strangely enough when she picks up I don't hear her voice but mikes. I ask why he's got her phone and he replys with she's in the girls toilets and he's waiting for her since he needed a new dorm key and layla is apparently the room next to him so he offered to walk with her. My jaw feels like it's gonna hit the floor when a sudden flush of rage builds up I scream "you hurt my cousin and your dead, do you hear me Mike". I can feel ace and felix staring at me with shock. I feel my face heat up and I quickly end the call while turning my face away from the brothers.
