"How is that even possible?" Li Chuyu strided towards him. She badly wanted to know whether this man was lying or not, "I saw it and tended to your wound while you were out cold."

"You must have seen wrong."

"Oh please... Stop with the superman act. There's no way you are all healed up after having a hole in your body." She retorted.

Chu Feiyang faintly smiled at her, "Do you want to check again?"

Li Chuyu didn't like that kind of smile and scowled at him. She regretted that she brought this man in her own home.

It's been a while since she's gotten her peace, away from all the mess the original host has created and left to her. However, meeting this man was like pushing a restart button where she had to be frustrated and think of a plan to get away from him.

A few hours ago, Li Chuyu had to sacrifice her sleep to take care of the man before her. When she saw the wound on his back, she was surprised how the man before her could even try and act like nothing was wrong.

When she died, it was from a having a bullet piercing her heart. The few seconds of hanging around between life and death was painful and the physical pain she got from it was an experience she never wanted to try again.

However, Li Chuyu refused to accept that this man could easily withstand the pain without even a twitch.

"No need." Li Chuyu paused and turned towards the door.

Chu Feiyang silently watched her walk her way towards the door and saw Li Chuyu leaning on the doorframe and heard her say:

"Since you're okay now. You can leave." She stated.

Chu Feiyang lowered his voice and continued to smile, "Don't be so heartless. You saved me and I want to repay you--"

"You don't have to." Li Chuyu menacingly replied. She didn't want to care anymore, "Leave."

That night, she was panicking and shocked at what happened and was unable to think straight. Despite her guilt and fear, she should have sent this man to a nearby hospital and deal with the aftermath instead of bringing her inside of her house.

"I don't want to." He curled his lips upward, "Besides, weren't you the one who almost killed me by running over me and I doubt those men would let you be after finding out your involvement with me... I wonder what will happen to you if they found out."

"Are you threatening me?" Li Chuyu narrowed her eyes.

"No... I'm stating the fact here." He replied, "You're living alone in a not so highly guarded apartment... Those people might see some CCTV and tracked you... With me here, you can use me as an hostage or whatever you want."

"I worry more of what you'll do to me than those people." She icily said as she gritted her teeth.

With him in her apartment, Li Chuyu felt her privacy being invaded by an extraterrestrial being. She was sure that if she give in, he might use her as a human shield from whatever was chasing after him.

"You flatter me..." Chu Feiyang pretended to be embarrassed as he patted his chest, deeply appreciating her comment, "But don't worry, I won't do worse than what you're thinking... I can assure you your safety for as long as you let me live here for the time being."

"I still don't agree." She replied, refusing to give in.

How can she let him live here for the time being?

Li Chuyu didn't know anything about the man before her but one thing was clear to her. This man was dangerous.

Sighing deeply, Chu Feiyang said, "What will make you agree to me then?"

"Just get o--"

As Li Chuyu was about to tell him 'get out', a knock came interrupting them and both looked at each other.

Li Chuyu felt her heart ramming her chest as she curiosly asked Chu Feiyang with her eyes but she was surprised to see him glaring at the door like it was his natural nemesis.
