Might be a Misunderstanding

Sometimes we think that we moved on in our lives and we are not really affected by someone. But in reality, it's a lie we say to ourselves. And to be honest even if we accept the reality, we can't change the burning pain in our heart but still it could make us live with a lighter heart and maybe could help to adapt ourselves in a situation.

Tal thought that she moved on in her life, but when she talked about Reagan reality hit her hard. A lump formed in her throat, making it hard for her to swallow and her tears are threatening her to fall, but her father curious question brought her from daze.

He asked her with a serious tone "Tal what happened on that day, why are you speaking like you don't love him anymore?". With his simple question Tal clenched her hands into a fist and her nails bit into her palms turning her milky skin into red colour. But realizing that they still need their answers she said "Dad I saw him with a girl, who had a crush on him but I didn't get emotional over that but when I saw him looking in that girls eyes in the same way he looks at me, I thought I shouldn't decide him by whatever I saw because in my stupid brain, I thought it all might me a misunderstanding, "But daddy you know what happened after that" she asked with a hoarse voice to which her daddy shook her head with a no.
