Unlocking the Full Potential

Shaheer received a notification of a new skill, and as he delved deeper into the intricacies of ancient martial arts, he felt his understanding of the art form skyrocket. The true meaning of the book he was studying seemed to give him a boost of tremendous power, and he couldn't help but feel a sense of awe and wonder at the complexity and depth of the art form.

As he looked up at the old man who had been teaching him, Shaheer couldn't help but let out a carefree smile, mocking the old man's earlier statement that he would make Shaheer his student if he mastered the basics in a year. The old man, clearly at the edge of insanity, glared at Shaheer with a look of envy.

Shaheer knew that if he could learn skills at this rate, all he needed were skill books of various variations, and it wouldn't take him a whole year to become a legendary being. While there were still obstacles to overcome, such as experiencing battles and getting used to using those skills, Shaheer felt confident that with his insane amount of talent and his greed to destroy a capable rival, he could achieve his goal.

The old man, sensing Shaheer's eagerness to see the power of the true basics of the Green snakes martial arts, signaled for him to come out to the training grounds. Shaheer eagerly followed, his heart pounding with excitement.

As they arrived at the private sparring ring, Shaheer took a deep breath, relaxing his whole body. He focused on his breathing, which became more and more relaxed, until the old man thought he might not be breathing at all. But then, a steam escaped Shaheer's mouth, and a green aura enveloped his entire body.

Shaheer felt power surging through every nerve, and he could control his body like never before. He knew his own limits, and they exceeded his expectations. His strength seemed to have improved by multiple folds.

As Shaheer turned his head to look at the old man, who was standing outside the ring, he kicked his leg and flew a few meters away, sensing a refined killing intent from the seventeen-year-old. Shaheer was so eager for a fight that he wanted to take on whoever he saw first, but as he saw the old man's reaction, he dropped that thought, knowing that if the old man saw him as a threat, he wouldn't be able to look at the sun the next morning.

But Shaheer wasn't going to let the opportunity pass him by. 'The old man asked for a demonstration, so I hope he doesn't mind this,' he thought, as he kicked only his left foot, which was not his dominant foot. Shockwaves produced where he stood, and the ground had a hole in it as Shaheer flew in a straight line upwards, like a rocket. He reached the height of an overgrown date tree and came crashing back down into the hole, which was smashed even more after his return. As he stood up, he looked at the old man with a carefree expression.

The old man was obviously surprised again, and Shaheer couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction at the old man's reaction. The old man had seen much more impressive feats, but not with just the power of the basics. He couldn't help but feel a sense of pride at the power of his own family's basics and that he had unlocked the full potential of his own family's heirloom.

"Your abilities seem to be far more complicated than you made it sound," the old man said, his voice steady, despite the surprise on his face.

Guess I haven't completely unlocked its full potential." Shaheer said while having a carefree expression.

Shaheer was surprised to discover that he could learn skills from books. He already had the ability to create his own skills, so this was an added bonus. He was impressed to see that his ability had even replicated the learning from the skill book aspect of the game and he was curious to find out what other capabilities his ability might possess.
