Once upon a time, there was a little, tiny mouse! He was small and lived in a big house. Specifically in Bethany-Wood's wall! But this mouse was no ordinary mouse. This mouse could change into all sorts of animals! Rabbit, tiger, owl, crocodile, you name it! But Mr Mouse was a greatful mouse, so he was happy as he was. Until, Mary-Linne (Bethany-Woods' little half-sister) got a pet cat for her birthday! The cat sniffed Mr Mouse out on her first day of arrival, even though Mr Mouse had been living there for the past 3 years! Since the hole in the wall was too small for the cat to fit into, Mr Mouse began to tease Mary-Linne's feline. Every day, at 12:30 when the children were at school and the parents at work, the cat would come in and find Mr Mouse lying on the bed, asleep. Or so she thought. The cat would pounce on the bed and Mr Mouse would dash back into his hole and laugh for hours on end. But Mr Mouse was biting off more than he could chew, this time, he layed on the bed and the cat would burst through the door! "Where was Mr Mouse?" The cat pondered. There was something else on the bed... A SPIDER! The cat did its usual pounce and the spider tried to run, but couldn't. It then revealed to be Mr Mouse in another form! The cat feasted delightfully on Mr Mouse and he regretted being so foolish.
Moral of the story: Don't be greedy or bite off more than you can chew. x
