: Too Frilly

The lady immediately circled Kayda while making verbal notes to herself.

After that, she got behind a circular mana stone the size of a thumb that was as clear as glass with a translucent teal shimmer.

After telling Kayda how to pose, instructing her how to stand and giving pointers to even out Kayda's expression, she started taking pictures on the translucent mana stone.

Everytime she wanted to capture the image before her, the lady would inject some of her mana into the stone and a small colorful bubble would seem to fill up the clear stone after every picture.

After what seemed to be an hour of standing in that one outfit, Kayda did it three more times.

Throughout the entire shoot, she was surprised to feel that each of the outfits were light, flexible and sturdy unlike the usual showy dresses.

The last outfit she wore was a fluffed up cream colored dress with navy blue cross stitching, a leather corset with navy blue embroidery and a long navy blue coat with black puppy ears and a long black tail that swayed side to side as she moved.

The lady was literally swooning seeing the adorable but stoic figure before her. She could almost feel a nose bleed coming on.

Kayda reaction was rather cold as she felt a chill run down her spine like a slithering snake as she looked at the woman's face. She didn't know why, but she felt a sense of danger when the lady would look at her.

With a shiver, she continued to pose for a few more minutes when the mana stone used for taking the photos had filled up completely with colorful bubbles.

The lady took up the mana stone like it was some precious family heirloom and quickly stashed it away.

Looking up, she spotted Kayda gently tugging at the hem of the frilly dress with a look of curiosity on her aloof face.

She could once again feel her blood boiling.

Gently, she coughed into her hand and looked at Kayda with a smile. "Is there something wrong with the dress?" She asked.

She knew there was nothing wrong with her dress, but she still asked, wanting to here Kayda's sweet and translucent voice.

Kayda looked up at her then back down at the outfit she was wearing.

"I was just wondering what material you used to make these outfits." Kayda couldn't hold in her curiosity. The dress wasn't just light but it was also durable and it ever so slightly absorbed her mana when she released it onto the dress.

It couldn't have been made with regular fabric to be this durable. If she learned what it was made of, maybe she could find a way to acquire one that wasn't so, frilly.

The woman smiled as she started to put away the frilly lolita dresses with great care. "I used monster material."

Kayda narrowed her eyes as she looked at the lady but didn't say much else. Surprisingly, she wasn't in much of a hurry to get out of the outfit.

The woman took a glance at Kayda and saw that there was no abhorrence on Kayda's face even after hearing what she had just said.

People of the Klenon continent had a great prejudice against every day clothing made of monster material. Deeming it as something that is unethical and unclean to wear. That it has no place being worn as an outfit such as the ones she had made.

Seeing that Kayda had no distaste towards such a thing, a small flame was ignited.

"Actually," she started and then went into more detail. "That dress you're wearing right now is made from the silk of the frozen razor warm. Making it durable, heat resistant and absorbs mana. I used the diy from the laetus jellyfish's ink sack to give it its color. The dress you wore before that one was made using the pelt of the khroma wolf while I used a diy made from the glands of a ranga toad found in the Crystal Mist Forest located in the Northern continent, Criyela." The lady continued to look at Kayda's expression.

Kayda wasn't at all adverse to the details about how the dress was made. More than anything, she was intrigued.

When the lady stopped, Kayda looked up at the lady wondering why she had stopped talking.

Seeing Kayda with such a curious face when she was acting so aloof and apathetic earlier, the contradiction caused the woman to cover her nose and turn away to check if it was bleeding. It was really just too cute seeing such a small lolita like girl like her that acted cold and aloof when really she was just ignorant and undeveloped in the feelings department.

It was such a turn on.

Kayda felt a chill down her spine but she didn't know why.

The lady turned around with a smile on her face as if nothing had happened earlier.

"By the way," she smiled. "I haven't introduced myself yet, have I?"

Stepping forward, she looked at Kayda with a seductive grin. "I'm Aideen Albion. It is a pleasure to meet you."

Kayda looked at Aideen for a second before acknowledging her with a nod. "Silas."

Kayda wasn't going to use her real name. Some influential figures have heard of it, and she didn't want to take a risk with the Duke of Echethier and his followers. With Dimitri and Clouse's talent, she wouldn't be surprised if they had already scoured the towns near the dukedom.

And she didn't even know what the others where capable of.

Aideen looked at Kayda without any suspicion. She had had plenty of customers enter her shop, using aliases. After all, who would want to have their name floating around along with such an ambiguous shop like hers.

"Nice to meet you Silas. Just tell me what kind of mask you're looking for and I can have it ready for you by the end of the day." Her smile was still seductive. With such a manner of speaking, she came off as flirtatious, but never sultry. She held a sort of pride that discouraged such thoughts.

Shaking her head slightly, Kayda went into detail on the mask she wanted while Aideen listened to her attentively.

The longer she listened, the brighter her eyes shown.

She couldn't wait to get started.
